HISTORY OF NEBİM
1966
Nebim starts its operations as the data processing center of Neyir Orme Sanayi A.S., one
of the famous brands of that time in Turkey. With an IBM Unit Record- based
infrastructure, Nebim supports Neyir’s production, work flow synchronization, order
management, sales, store tracking and accounting operations.
1970 With the acquisition of one of Turkey’s first IBM System/360 mainframe computers,
Nebim starts offering its office services to other companies.
1977
Nebim splits from Neyir Orme and becomes incorporated. It takes the name of Nebim
Neyir Bilgisayar Sanayi ve Hizmetleri A.S.
1981- Nebim becomes the distributor of Texas Instruments in Turkey, and starts selling
1982 hardware. It establishes a maintenance department within the organization to service
the hardware products. Nebim moves its central offices to Dedeman Is Hani, which still
serves as Nebim headquarters today. With the opening of an Ankara regional office,
Nebim expands its operations.
Nebim starts developing Unix- and COBOL- based applications.
1988
Nebim adopts a business model where a licensed “Packaged Software” is developed,
licensed and supported, and thus officially becomes an “Independent Software Vendor”.
1995
A distribution channel is founded to distribute Nebim solutions all over Turkey.
1997
Nebim starts a strategic partnership with Microsoft. It starts to develop software,
running on Microsoft SQL server and offering a Windows based graphical user interface,
based on software with Client/Server architecture.
2000- Nebim Winner is introduced, one of Turkey’s first Enterprise Resource Planning ERP
2001 product that runs on a relational database and offers a graphical user interface.
2004 With Winner’s introduction, Nebim ends its hardware and service operations and starts
focusing solely on software development. Its transformation into an Independent
Software Vendor is thus completed. In the meantime, other solution partners are added
to the distribution channel to serve all of Turkey.
Nebim strengthens its strategic partnership with Microsoft established in 1997 even
further, and thus reaches Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status.
2010 With its more than 65 solution partners throughout Turkey, serving more than 9000
companies and more than 60,000 users of Nebim solutions, Nebim becomes the leader
in software development for apparel, footwear, eyewear stores, chain stores, and
department stores.
Nebim also establishes a strategic partnership with IBM and becomes an IBM Solution
Partner. Using IBM Cognos products, Nebim starts developing Corporate Performance
Management solutions.
2011
Nebim introduces its new ERP solution Nebim V3. In development since 2005, Nebim V3
offers a flexible and scalable platform and enables efficient use of company resources
with fully integrated and target-based management processes.

this with the experience of configuring the Nebim software parametrically, prepare them to
receive the “Nebim Application Expert (NAE) Certificate”, which enables them to prove their
competence.
Participants, who are successful on the exams on Information Technologies, Product
Management, Purchasing, Warehouse Management, Sales Channels, Finance Management,
Accounting and Fixed Assets, and Store Management Expertise Training, qualify for the NAE
Certificate. Those participants who are not interested in all the required topics for the NAE
Certificate, can choose to be trained on the topics related to their own field and to attend
the expertise exams of the relevant topics only. Complementary expertise training sessions
are held alongside the training required to receive the NAE certificate. These expertise
training sessions cover HR and Pay slip, Cost of the Merchandise, Discount and Campaigns,
