A Message From Our President
June is a time to celebrate our fathers and reflect on May the month we
celebrated our mothers. May was also a month of marches. The Sask Pro life
and Campaign Life Coalition co-sponsored the Sask March for Life in Regina.
Thank you to everyone who came out to support life. Thank you to Regina
Pro Life for organizing the Pink and Blue Flag display.
Thank you to the young Sask residents who travelled all the way to Ottawa.

Ulrich, Mary McLane, Josh Lees, Adam Fahlman, and Courtney Stang. I am
very proud of this group of exceptional young people, they represented our
province with conviction, respect and joy. On a personal note, this week my 15 year old son had to have an emergency
medical procedure. His appendix was removed by a surgeon in Lloydminster
hospital, but before the procedure or any tests could be done, I had to
sign papers giving parental consent every step of the way. I cannot
imagine putting my child through an ordeal like this without my presence.
The thought that a teenage girl can go through an abortion without her
parents truly disturbs me.
If we care about young people we have to make parental consent for
abortion a high priority.
Another priority is to remind the Saskatchewan College of Physicians and
Surgeons that we don’t think medical practitioners should be forced to go
against their beliefs! Forcing them to do or refer clients to interventions such
as abortions or doctor assisted death is wrong. The CPSS is meeting on June
19th and we need to remind them of our stand. Send them an e-mail or a
letter and Cc Brad Wall and Dustin Duncan. Go to our website for letter
samples and addresses.

Consent Momentum
Now is the time to make our
move!
We've been in the news. We're on
people's minds. Now is the time to
make our move!
How do you help keep up the
momentum?
Write a letter to Health
Minister Dustin Duncan, opposing
his stand that a minor’s decision to
undergo an abortion should remain in
the hands of the Saskatchewan
Medical Association. Click HERE for
easy instructions, and a sample letter.
Also, in order for us to keep an active
and effective campaign - we NEED
YOUR HELP! Click HERE to donate
today!
Make your support public with
Facebook, Twitter and newspaper
posts. And use the website, www.sk.parentalconsent.ca, for more
information to help others understand
that this WILL help protect our
daughters! Getting the parents
involved will also hopefully save babie
lives in the process.

Justice for the Preborn
The story of Cassie and Molly Kaake was one that reignited the discussion
last December, when at 7 months pregnant Cassie was murdered.

Memberships & Donations are the
foundation of our house, we cannot
continue building without your help!
Because of our critical work, we are
unable to issue tax receipts for
memberships and donations to the
Association. The suspect has been charged in Cassie’s death, but there will never be a
charge in the death of Molly or other pre-born victims of crime, until our
government chooses to bring justice to these families who mourn the loss of
children they never had a chance to meet.
People from across the country continue to engage with their MP to tell them
that Canada needs a law to protect pre-born victims of crime. What about
you? Have you filled out the petition available on our website? We encourage
you to print copies, collect signatures and send them to your MP!
