STAMFORD The Moffly Media
the moffly media family has a new member! STAMFORD publisher’s letter The long awaited moment has arrived! Moffly Media announces the launch of Stamford Magazine. It will join our three popular award winning town magazines, Greenwich, New Canaan•Darien and Westport at the hub of Fairfield County’s fabled Gold Coast, as well as our quarterly home and garden publication, athome in Fairfield County. It is the mission of Stamford Magazine to celebrate the many faces of Stamford from the city to the shore to the backcountry, and to serve the interests of the residents, workers and visitors to this dynamic city. It is our commitment to bring to Stamford Magazine the same editorial excellence and graphic quality that distinguishes each of our town magazines. We had often been asked over the years why we didn’t publish a magazine for this major center of commerce and culture in the midst of the neighboring towns we have been serving so successfully. The answer is that the dramatic growth and increasing vibrancy of this city in our midst could no longer be ignored, yet the number and diversity of Stamford’s distinctive neighborhoods posed a challenge to create a magazine with the broadest appeal. In short, we wanted to be sure we had it right! The pages of Stamford Magazine will feature unique service oriented stories that inform residents and visitors about places to shop, dine and be entertained. It will profile interesting residents and community leaders, explore city issues, cover charitable events, social scenes, the arts and entertainment. We believe that the city of Stamford is long overdue to have its own first class magazine. With the launch of Stamford Magazine, we are pleased to have the opportunity to meet the desire of the citizens of Stamford for a magazine that reflects the pride they have in their city.
