System Settings
Before you begin using the camera, you must set a few basic settings, such as
the date and time, language, auto power off, system reset, etc.
After turning on the camera, press the MENU button to enter the Settings menu.
Press the MENU button again to enter the System Settings menu.
1. Format
Use this function to format the current storage media; doing so will delete any
data on the storage media.
Enter the System Settings menu screen, then use the UP or DOWN keys to select
“Format”, and press the button. Then press UP or DOWN again to select
“Execute” and press the button to begin formatting. After formatting is
complete, press the MENU button to exit the menu.
2. Sounds
After turning on the camera and entering the Settings screen, use the UP or
DOWN keys to select “Sounds.”
Press the button to enter the options screen and use the UP or DOWN keys to
select on or off, and press the button to confirm; press the MENU button to
exit the menu. When sounds are turned on, pressing buttons will produce a
tone.
3. Language Settings
After turning on the camera and entering the Settings screen, use the UP or
DOWN keys to select “Languages.”
Press the button to enter the options screen and use the UP or DOWN keys to
select one of the following languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish,
Portuguese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or
Russian. After selecting a language, press the button to confirm; press MENU
to exit the menu.
4. Auto power off
After turning on the camera and entering the Settings screen, use the UP or
DOWN keys to select “Auto power off.” Press the button to enter the Auto
power off screen, then press UP or DOWN to choose either 1-minute, 3-minute,
5-minute, or Off. After selecting one of these four options, press the button to
confirm; press the MENU key to exit the menu.
5. System reset
Use this function to reset all settings to their default values.
In the System Settings menu screen, use the UP or DOWN keys to select “System
reset” and press the button. Then select “Execute” and press the key to
confirm; press MENU to exit the menu.

6. Optical frequency
Using the optical frequency options, you can set the system frequency most
appropriate for the local light source.
In the System Settings menu screen, use the UP or DOWN keys to select “Optical
frequency” and press the button. Then select 60Hz or 50Hz and press the
key to confirm; press MENU to exit the menu.
7. Video output format
In the System Settings menu screen, use the UP or DOWN keys to select “Video
output format” and press the button. Then select NTSC or PAL and press the
key to confirm; press MENU to exit the menu.
8. Setting the time and date
In the System Settings menu screen, use the UP or DOWN keys to select “Enter
Date” and press the button. Then select time or date settings and press the
key. In that screen, press the button to select which place you need to adjust,
and use the UP or DOWN keys to change the value. After you are finished
adjusting all values, hold down the
button to exit the time and date settings;
then press MENU to exit the menu.
9. USB
This menu allows you to select whether, when the camera is connected to a
computer, it will function as a disk drive or as a PC camera (optional).
In the System Settings menu screen, use the UP or DOWN keys to select “USB”
and press the MENU button. Then select “PC Camera” or “Disk Drive” and press
MENU to confirm.
10. Screen saver
In the menu, find this option and press the Enter key to enter. Options are:
Normal 1-minute, or 3-minute. Use the UP or DOWN keys to make a selection,
then press the Enter key again.
Video Mode
Make sure that an SD card has been inserted into the product!
Press the power button to turn on the camera, and enter camera mode. Press
the button once to begin recording, and press the button again to stop
recording and save.
Use the UP or DOWN keys for digital zoom;
Note: When recording, segments are saved automatically every 5 minutes.
Shooting mode
After turning on the camera in video mode, press the MODE button once to
switch to shooting mode to take still pictures.
Press the button to start shooting and saving pictures.

4. Preview/Playback mode
In shooting mode, press the MODE button to enter preview/playback mode:
The UP and DOWN keys: When in standby they will go to the previous or next
file; during playback, they will fast forward or rewind.
The MENU key: When in standby it will enter the preview/playback menu;
during playback, it will select the fast forward or rewind speed.
The key: If the current file is a video file, it will start playback. Pressing it again
will pause or play.
Shooting menu
In shooting mode, press the MENU button to enter the shooting menu
5.1 Photo Resolution
Use this option to set the size of the captured image; larger images contain more
detail, but require greater storage space.
In the shooting menu, use the UP or DOWN keys to select “Size” and press the
button to enter the submenu. Then use UP or DOWN to select 12M, 8M, 5M,
3M, 2M, 1.3M, or VGA, and press the key to confirm; press MENU to exit the
menu.
5.2 Photo Quality
This option sets the quality of the captured image; the better the image quality,
the greater the storage space required.
In the shooting menu, use the UP or DOWN keys to select “Quality” and press
the button to enter the submenu. Then use UP or DOWN to select
high-quality, standard, or economy, and press the key to confirm; press
MENU to exit the menu.
5.3 Scene modes
Choose a different scene mode for different environments in order to optimize
image results.
In the shooting menu, use the UP or DOWN keys to select “Scene mode” and
press the button to enter the submenu. Then use UP or DOWN to select Auto,
Sport, Night, Portrait, Landscape, or Backlit, and press the key to confirm;
press MENU to exit the menu.
5.4 Exposure Compensation (Brightness)
Select a different exposure value (EV) according to the lighting conditions.
In the shooting menu, use the UP or DOWN keys to select “EV” and press the
button to enter the submenu. Then use UP or DOWN to select different
exposure values, and press the key to confirm; press MENU to exit the menu.
5.5 White balance

Correct color hues according to the lighting conditions.
In the shooting menu, use the UP or DOWN keys to select “White balance” and
press the button to enter the submenu. Then use UP or DOWN to select Auto,
Daylight, Cloudy, Incandescent (Tungsten), or Fluorescent, and press the key
to confirm; press MENU to exit the menu.
5.6 Sensitivity
Select the film speed (ISO) appropriate for the lighting conditions.
In the shooting menu, use the UP or DOWN keys to select “ISO” and press the
button to enter the submenu. Then use UP or DOWN to select Auto, 100, or 200,
and press the key to confirm; press MENU to exit the menu.
5.7 Color Effects
This camera can shoot standard and vivid color pictures, or pictures can also be
taken with black-and-white or sepia-tone effects.
In the shooting menu, use the UP or DOWN keys to select “Color” and press the
button to enter the submenu. Then use UP or DOWN to select Standard, Vivid,
Sepia, or Black & White, and press the key to confirm; press MENU to exit the
menu.
5.8 Saturation
In the shooting menu, use the UP or DOWN keys to select “Saturation” and press
the button to enter the submenu. Then use UP or DOWN to select High,
Normal, or Low, and press the key to confirm; press MENU to exit the menu.
5.9 Sharpness
In the shooting menu, use the UP or DOWN keys to select “Sharpness” and press
the button to enter the submenu. Then use UP or DOWN to select Sharp,
Normal, or Soft, and press the key to confirm; press MENU to exit the menu.
5.10 Time Stamp
Turn on the time stamp function to place a time stamp on captured images.
In the shooting menu, use the UP or DOWN keys to select “Time stamp” and
press the button to enter the submenu. Then use UP or DOWN to select Off,
Date, or Date & Time, and press the key to confirm; press MENU to exit the
menu.
5.11 Burst mode (continuous shooting)
When burst mode is on, each time you take a picture the camera will shoot
three successive images.
In the shooting menu, use the UP or DOWN keys to select “Burst” and press the
button to enter the submenu. Then use UP or DOWN to select On or Off, and
press the key to confirm; press MENU to exit the menu.

Video menu
In video standby mode, press the MENU key to enter the video menu.
6.1 Video resolution
This option configures the image size: the bigger the picture, the greater the
storage space required.
In the video menu, use the UP or DOWN keys to select “Size” and press the
button to enter the submenu. Then use UP or DOWN to select QVGA, VGA, or
SXGA, and press the key to confirm; press MENU to exit the menu.
6.2 Exposure Compensation (Brightness)
Select a different exposure value (EV) according to the lighting conditions.
In the video menu, use the UP or DOWN keys to select “EV” and press the
button to enter the submenu. Then use UP or DOWN to select different
exposure values, and press the key to confirm; press MENU to exit the menu.
6.3 White balance
Correct color hues according to the lighting conditions.
In the video menu, use the UP or DOWN keys to select “White balance” and
press the button to enter the submenu. Then use UP or DOWN to select Auto,
Daylight, Cloudy, Incandescent (Tungsten), or Fluorescent, and press the key
to confirm; press MENU to exit the menu.
6.4 Time Stamp
In the video menu, use the UP or DOWN keys to select “Time stamp” and press
the button to select Off, Date, or Date & Time, and press the key again to
confirm; press MENU to exit the menu.
6.5 Recording Time
In the video menu, use the UP or DOWN keys to select “Recording Time” and
press the button to enter the submenu and select Off, 1 minute, 2 minutes, 3
minutes, 4 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, or 15 minutes, and press the key
to confirm; press MENU to exit the menu.
6.6 Motion Detection Switch
If this function is turned on, then when the camera lens detects moving objects
it will automatically start recording, and stop recording when it does not detect
any moving objects; it will start recording again when it again detects a moving
object, and so on. The time interval and sensitivity for motion detection should
be in the system settings.
6.7 Audio recording
In the video menu, use the UP or DOWN keys to select “Record Audio” and press
the button to select On or Off, then press the key again to confirm; press
MENU to exit the menu.

6.8 Night vision function
In the video menu, use the UP or DOWN keys to select “Night Vision” and press
the button to select On or Off, then press the key again to confirm; press
MENU to exit the menu.
Preview/Playback menu
In preview/playback standby mode, press the MENU key to enter the
preview/playback menu.
7.1 Delete
Use this function to delete the currently selected file.
In the preview/playback menu, use the UP or DOWN keys to select “Delete” and
press the button to enter the submenu. Then use UP or DOWN to select
Single or All, and press the key to delete.
7.2 Volume
In the preview/playback menu, use the UP or DOWN keys to select “Volume”
and press the button to enter the submenu. Then use UP or DOWN to select
the playback volume, with 8 being the loudest, and press the key to confirm;
press MENU to exit the menu.
TV-OUT Mode
When you connect the TV-OUT cable to a television, the screen goes black and
the camera enters TV-OUT mode. In this mode, you can still take pictures, record
videos, and preview/playback, which will be displayed on the television. When
you unplug the TV-OUT cable the camera will automatically exit TV-OUT mode.
Connecting to a Computer
When connected to a computer, the camera can be used as a USB disk, so that
files can be freely copied, cut and pasted, or deleted.
When this camera is plugged into a computer’s USB port, after a few seconds the
“removable disk” logo should pop up on the computer.
Tips:
a. After connecting this camera to a computer, if the computer does not
recognize the device, or if after 30 seconds the “removable disk” logo has not yet
popped up, please unplug it and try again.
b. It is recommended to copy or cut-and-paste video files to your computer's
hard drive in order to play them; playing video files stored on the camera’s
memory directly may not play smoothly due to transmission speed being unable
to keep up with the large volume of data.

Konfiguracja urządzenia
Przed pierwszym użyciem kamery należy przeprowadzić wstępną konfigurację
ustawień: daty i godziny, języka, automatycznego wyłączania, resetu itd.
Po włączeniu urządzenia wciśnij przycisk "MENU" aby wejść w menu ustawień
funkcji.
Ponownie wciśnij przycisk "MENU" i wybierz menu konfiguracji systemu.
1. Formatowanie karty pamięci.
