A Silver and Gold Christmas Gala
fr3lance Productions,
under the direction
of Charles Nalley with
Assistance and choreography by Kristin
Nalley, will join forces
with some of the familiar faces at The Colonnade and some
new friends to bring
an evening of Christmas celebration to
The Colonnade Stage.
The event will consist
of a two act concert
featuring some of the
best local talent the
area has to offer.
Some classic Christmas favorites such as
Silent Night, What
Child is This and God
Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen will be sang as
well as some more
contemporary songs
such
as
Rockin’
Around the Christmas
Tree, Let it Snow and
Mary Did You Know.
Also, some family favorites like Frosty the
Snowman and Rudolph the Red Nosed
Reindeer will be sang
by some up and coming youngsters.
After
the
concert
concludes, guests will
be asked to join our
Gala
style
event
across from the theater. At this Gala there
will be sweet treats
including
candy
canes, brownies and
cookies…even
a
chocolate
fountain!
Cocoa and coffee will
also be served.
Lastly, we have confirmation that Santa will
be attending to bring
joy. There will be a
photographer there
to take family pictures with Santa as
well.
Also,
the
Cancer Society will be
in attendance. They
will be doing an auction of gift baskets
that will go to benefit
the ACS as well as selling “Fight Like a Girl”
and “Sock it to Cancer” hoodies…a great
Christmas present!
There will be one
show only on December 15th at 7:00 p.m.
Ticket prices are $15
for adults and $10 for
Children ages 5-12.
There is no charge for
children ages 4 and
under.

Stageworks Entertainment to Hold
Auditions for “Auntie Mame”
Hollie and Zack Baranick,
producers
for
Stageworks Entertainment, will be holding
auditions for “Auntie
Mame” on Janauray 2 &
3, 2013 from 6:30pm to
8:30pm.
This
production
of
“Auntie Mame” is based
on the novel by Patrick
Dennis and written by
Jerome Lawrence and
Robert E. Lee.
Those
auditioning
will need to be prepared to do a cold
read and perform
basic stage directions from the directors.
The cast is primarily
adult and will need
about 40 older teenagers and adults.
There is one role for
a young boy.

A list of nominees for the 2012 Star Awards will be
emailed to everyone on The Colonnade mailing list on
Monday, December 10th. A list may be obtained in person at The Colonnade offices from 9am to 5pm, Monday
through Friday, or by calling 706-935-9000.
Voting will take place December 26 through January 4
from 9:00am until 9:00pm. (Polls will be closed December 30th and January 1st).
ALL VOTING MUST TAKE PLACE IN PERSON AT THE
COLONNADE OFFICES. Voting machines will be used.
No other method of voting will be allowed.

The Colonnade Volunteers
Enjoy a Christmas Lunch
The Colonnade Staff and a
group of Colonnade Theater participants prepared
a traditional Christmas
lunch to honor The Colonnade Volunteers.
Santa paid a visit and door
prizes that had been generously donated by various businesses in the
community were awarded
to The Volunteers.
Audtions for
“The Advenutres of
Huckleberry Finn”
Director, Kim Parrish will be
holding auditions for “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn”
on January 21 & 22, 2013 from
6:00 pm until 8:00 pm both
nights.
It was announced that
the new fountain and
landscaping will have a
plaque installed in memory of long time volunteer coordinator, Elosie
Hixson.

Marie
Holder
was
crowned
“Miss
Colonnade” by the staff in
honor of her many years
of service.
The Colonnade Volunteers, in their usual giving and caring way, donated various Christmas
gifts that will be used by
the
Catoosa
County
Sheriff’s Department to
ensure a Merry Christmas for needy children
in Catoosa County.
