Welcome to 2015, I hope you have had a great Christmas and
New Year. I wish everyone great success in the new year. I hope to see
you all down here at the Lodge to support our activities like the Meat
Roll, Suppers, Breakfast etc…
We will have the Volunteer Appreciation Dinner and Dance on
February 21st.
Also, now is the time of year for all our members to think about
the operations of the Lodge and think about running for Office positions. Come into the Office anytime and ask questions.

WELCOME TO 2015, The Women of the Moose would like to
wish all of you a Happy New Year. We have a lot of projects to do in
2015 like Wendy’s Ways & Means Euchre Night on January 24th and
Aurore’s Valentine Basket in February. Tickets will be available soon for
the draw.
We held the Children’s Christmas Party on December 14, 2014
and it was a wonderful success. Santa Claus arrived with his wife Mrs.
Claus and the kids went crazy. Santa’s elves were very helpful when it
came to dishing out the food and drinks to the children and their parents. We are looking forward to next year’s Christmas party in December.
As Senior Regent, I want to thank all the ladies for their wonderful help throughout the year and also a Big Thank You to all the volunteers throughout the Lodge for their generous help.

Legionnaires Chairman’s Report:
A Happy New Year from all the Legionnaires and all the best in the upcoming year.
We are still moving forward with our ambitions and I will have a lot more to report in the next
bulletin.
I am hoping for a better than usual crowd at the Sunday Country & Western Dance in
the upcoming year and we will continue to please our friends.

I had the pleasure of being at the Lodge on Sunday afternoon December 21st, 2014 and
I was pleased to see a full car lot. The Lodge was full of Country & Western lovers enjoying
the party the Legionnaires put on for them. Live music, dancing and most of all a Hot Turkey
meal with all the trimmings. The crowd was very pleased as they told me when I asked.

GOLF FOR DUMMIES YEAR 15
Well it’s year 2015, we are looking forward to a new and even better scoring year. To this end, we are setting up
to go to Myrtle Beach, SC. with the 1st crew leaving Oshawa on Thursday, April 16th, staying overnight in Summerville,
WV. some 840km from home and another 647km to Myrtle Beach, SC. The 2nd group will leave on Friday, April 17th and
drive straight thru. We all depart Myrtle Beach on Saturday, April 25th.
We have now confirmed costs at $ 780.00US for Golf and Triple occupancy with $ 100.00 due at booking. This is
NON REFUNDABLE and balance is due March 16th. The cost may change a little as these prices are based on 10 people.
We have set up 7 courses for Saturday at Diamond Back includes lunch & Free replay, Sunday at Black Bear,
Monday at Sea Trail includes Free replay, Tuesday at Sand Piper Bay, Wednesday at Crow Creek, Thursday at Rivers Edge
and Friday at Eagle Nest. The Tee Times are 9:00am to 9:30am. The accommodation is at Kingston Plantation with 2 or 3
people per unit
