Margins on Contingencies

PSEG Long Island Storm Restoration Plan
• Continuously evolving Plan with emphasis on enhancing overall storm restoration
processes and enhancing communications during storm events
• Revised format filed with NYS Department of Public Service (DPS) December

– Comprehensive document delineating storm response across Operations, Logistics
and Customer/Communications functions
– Designed to be simple, flexible, scalable and easily adaptable to specific emergency
events
– Delineates Incident Command Structure (ICS)
– Continue to maintain Emergency Response Implementation Procedures (ERIPs) that
include detailed procedures and checklists
• All PSEG Long Island employees assigned a storm role in addition to their day
job and provided training to ensure readiness
• Plan reviewed and drilled regularly to ensure accuracy, completeness and
understanding among those involved
– Annual Hurricane Tabletop Exercise to be conducted May 14th
