ITINERARY
DAY 1: Gocek
Arrive in Gocek and check into the Hotel.
Explore the town then meet in the evening
with your fellow rally crews for welcome
cocktails.
DAY 2: Dalyan Excursion & Embarkation
Take a boat through the UNESCO
protected maze of the Dalyan River estuary.
View the Lycian tombs carved into the
cliff face and climb to the ruins of nearby
Caunos.
DAY 3: Race 1 to Sarsala 10 nm
Depart late in the morning and race to
Sarsala in the Gulf of Fethiye. Dive off the
pier into the aquamarine sea, where pine
trees line the waters edge before our postrace dinner ashore.
DAY 4: Leisure Day
Wake to the smell of freshly baked bread
cruise to one of the many anchorages in
this clean and protected waterway. Kapi
Creek and Tomb Bay are but two of the
many options. Swim in the bays and relax.
DAY 5: Race 2 to Turunc Pinari 8 nm
A short race will take us to another bay
with a locally famous shore-side restaurant
for our post-race dinner in the evening.
Here too the waters are clean and warm.
DAY 6: Race 3 to Karacaoren 8 nm
Karacaoren has just one restaurant with
laid moorings. Dinghy ashore for the postrace dinner or wait on board for a pick-up.
There is no road access to the bay.
DAY 7: Leisure Day- optional excursion
We recommend you visit the deserted
city of Kayakoy, originally a thriving Greek
town, and part of a population exchange
between Greece and Turkey in 1923. The

25,000 inhabitants were repatriated to
Greece and the town was never resettled.
DAY 8: Race 4 to Kalkan 10 nm.
Cruise to a rendezvous for lunch and a
swim, the race will be for the last ten miles
to Kalkan. It is largely frequented in the
summer by Turks escaping Istanbul. Berthing
is on the town quay. Post-race dinner.
DAY 9: Leisure Day in Kalkan
Organise a taxi to visit the ruins of the
ancient Lycian capital of Xanthos and
Letoon or Patara. In the town explore the
shops, bars and restaurants, or sail off and
drop anchor in a bay for a swim.
DAY 10: Race 5 to Kastellorizo 10 nm
Moor to the quay and step ashore in
Europe. Post-race dinner ashore on the
quay.
DAY 11: Leisure Day in Kastellorizo
“Kasi” history is enthralling! Delve into the
past and be intrigued by this small island.
Organise a boat ride to the Blue Cave,
swim in a bay or the harbour - the water
is clear and clean. Climb the hill behind the
quay to enjoy a magnificent view across to
Kas.
DAY 12: Cruise to Kas 2 nm
Kas is a charming town which has retained
many of the old Ottoman houses. Shopping
is unhurried here and there are so many
restaurants, you are spoilt for choice.
DAY 13: Race 6 to Kekova 10 nm
Cruise in the morning to a bay for a swim
and lunch before a race to Kekova.The finish
is near the imposing castle on Kalekoy and
berthing is in Ucagiz marina. Go ashore and
meet the local merchants in this remote
village before a post-race dinner.
DAY 14: Leisure Day in Kekova
Rally highlights

luxury hotel with all the modern
conveniences where we have a
well-deserved languor and pause
before our next destination, it is
the finishing touch really.
•The mix of ‘off the beaten track’
and ‘must do’ places in each
destination is based on years of
knowledge and experience – and
to listening to what our rally crews
suggest.
•A little bit of competition on the
race days expands the experience
and amplifies your enjoyment of the
leisure days.
Explore the Kekova waterway with its many
anchorages. You can cruise over the ‘sunken
city’ and there is an undewater world of past
civilizations. You can easily sail off and find your
own sunken treasure.
DAY 15: Transfer to Antalya.
Today we have a coach transfer to Antalya to our
hotel in the old city above the ancient harbor.
DAY 16: Antalya.
Visit the famous Antalya Museum or explore
the old city. Tonight we’ll have our final night
presentation dinner.
DAY 17: Depart.
Transfer to the airport or extend your stay in
Antalya.
