Overview
Again for the fifth year, Boardwalk Ferrari is participating in the Trofeo Ferrari Challenge Racing
Series. Each participating dealership staffs its race driver with qualified technicians and logistical
support. Each vehicle is maintained and race prepped by its supporting dealership for action in
this aggressive gentleman’s racing series. Veteran and rookie racing car drivers are pitted against
each other on some of the most technical tracks in the United States. Don’t think for a moment
that this series is a laid back track weekend, this is some of the most difficult, fast, and stressful
racing that can be seen on any world circuit.

The 599 HGTE Retrofit Kit
Four kits are available to upgrade your 599 to a somewhat “customized” level.
HGTE Handling Kit • HGTE Performance Kit • HGTE Exhaust Kit • HGTE Aesthetic Kit
HGTE Handling Kit
The upgrades include a renewed suspension setup consisting of new, more rigid springs and a rear anti-roll bar, as well as new
calibration for the magnetorheological shock absorbers when in the Sport and Race positions of the Manettino.
HGTE Performance Kit
Installation of the Performance Kit includes the replacement of the mufflers,
exhaust pipes, and new software settings, and offers the client faster response of
the engine controls. This enhances the car’s dynamic qualities, which can be best
experienced on the track.
HGTE Exhaust Kit
All cars with VIN 156938 and greater can use this kit or the HGTE Performance
Kit 70001570, which includes the software upgrades in addition to the mufflers
in kit 70001493. It can also be used on all cars with manual gearboxes.
HGTE Aesthetic Kit
Together with the other kits or individually, this kit completes the “customization” of the exterior. It enhances the front area with the use
of a grille with a special chromatic treatment where the Prancing Horse has a more definitive appearance due to a special brushed-finish
treatment. The Prancing Horse with the same treatment is also available on the rear lid.

CERTIFICATION OF AUTHENTICITY
This service is available to Ferrari road cars over twenty years of age and to Ferrari F1 cars, sports and sports prototypes,
irrespective of their year of manufacture.
The aim is to provide owners with a document attesting to the authenticity of their vehicle.
The car will only be deemed authentic if, in addition to being in total working order, inspections performed by Ferrari show
that all the following components are original:
• Chassis;
• Engine;
• Gearbox / Transmission;
• Suspension / Brakes / Wheels;
• Bodywork / Interior.
During the certification process the car will undergo a rigorous examination by a group of experts from Ferrari Classiche in the
factory premises, or in a specially authorized center.
RESTORATION & MAINTENANCE
The Ferrari marque has always been a symbol of mechanical excellence and high technical characteristics. The Prancing Horse
classics need special attention to preserve their exclusive performance. Owners can rely on Ferrari SpA, through its Ferrari
Classiche department to carry out restoration work, servicing and maintenance, as well for general technical assistance.
Ferrari Classiche carries out the work of restoration and servicing on the cars brought to the factory, returning them to their
original level of authenticity, thanks to the use of technical drawings and tools, and where possible, also making use of the
foundry and machine tools which were used to make the original components.
SPARE PARTS SERVICE
The technical inspection of the car, in order to ascertain the authenticity of the various mechanical components, constitutes
the basis of the certification process.
In the case of components that do not correspond to the factory specification, Ferrari can offer, whenever possible, in
collaboration with its official suppliers the necessary parts to be replaced including, where it is deemed necessary, structural
components and castings items manufactured out of the original molds.
Only spare parts from the “Ricambi Ferrari Classiche” department, which have undergone the necessary quality control, can
ensure the original technical specification and the maintenance of the vehicles in proper working condition.

the vehicle’s GTO version. The plastic parts are all

Fender Shields
To complete and distinguish the vehicle, the dominant
motif of the Ferrari Genuine aftermarket re-appears in
the form of the chrome-plated Prancing Horse applied
on a carbon fiber background. The kit can only be
fitted on fenders that already have the optional shield
available in the catalog.

The GTO-style grille is inherited directly from the
racing versions of Ferrari models. This grille inherits
essentiality and lightness which are obtained by using a
honeycomb grille, painted and treated to help guarantee
that the high aesthetic standards of Ferrari last.

Kits are available which are structured to meet each
customer’s needs although customers can also buy and
install single parts from their dealer who is trained-in and
informed of all the possibilities that the Ferrari catalog

pre-sales preparation to return the exterior and interior
to factory-fresh condition. All Approved cars carry a
24-month, Ferrari unlimited mileage warranty and are
eligible for dedicated 24-hour year-round roadside

Le Finali Mondiali sono ormai un appuntamento
consolidato mell’agenda di tifosi e appassionati della
Ferrari. Previste alla fine del Campionato di Formula
I, da una parte rappresentano la tappa finale dei
campionati Ferrari Challenge, dall’altra sono una vera
e propria festa di chiusura delle attività in pista che
vedono impegnate a vario titolo le vetture di Maranello,
che culminano nell’esibizione della Scuderia Ferrari di
F1.
Per i clienti sono quindi un’occasione unica per
ammirare le auto protagoniste dell’Historic Challenge,
dell’FI Clienti e dei programmi FXX e 599XX, oltre che
alle monoposto di F1. Anche in questo caso , ai clienti

The World Finals are now a regular date in the diaries
of many Ferrari tifosi and enthusiasts. They take place
just after the finish of the Formula I season and not
only encompass the final round of the Ferrari Challenge
championships but are also a real closing celebration
for the racing year. The Maranello cars are involved
on various levels, culminating in an F1 display by the
Scuderia Ferrari.
The World Finals also offer clients a unique opportunity
to admire the Historic Challenge, F1 Clienti and FXX
and 599XX programme cars as well, of course, as
the current single-seaters. Once again clients enjoy
a range of special privileges (transfers, overnight
bookings) as well as access to reserved areas, such
as Ferrari Hospitality and the GT range display.

Getting behind the wheel of a Ferrari and experiencing

Participants can test-drive whichever car in the range
they are most interested in as part of the two-day
programme. The routes they’ll drive will depend on
the model they are trying (track, road or a mix of the
two), to perfectly highlight the individual car’s particular
vocation and the kind of driving pleasure it delivers.

Nella seconda metà del 2010 è prevista l’apertura
del Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, il primo parco tematico
dedicato alla Ferrari della storia: situato su Yas Island,
nella parte nord-est di Abu Dhabi, proprio a fianco
del nuovo circuito che ha ospitato per la prima volta
un Gran Premio di Formula 1 lo scorso novembre.
The first theme park dedicated entirely to the Prancing
Horse, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is scheduled to open
in the second half of 2010. Situated on Yas Island, in
the north-east section of Abu Dhabi, it is flanked by the
brand new circuit that hosted its first Formula 1 grand
prix last November.

Ferrari mette a disposizione dei clienti un programma
di corsi finalizzati al miglioramento delle capacità di
guida della loro Ferrari. I piloti-istruttori sono in grado
seguire il percorso di apprendimento di allievi con ogni
tipo di background, sia per quanto riguarda la guida in
sicurezze su strada, sia per lo sfruttamento della vettura
in pista.
La dinamica di questa progressione d’insegnamento
è didatticamente integrata e permette di seguire corsi
successivi fino a raggiungere un livello agonistico, con
la possibilità di proseguire nella serie Ferrari Challenge:
- Corso di Guida Sportiva: finalizzato al massimo
apprendimento delle tecniche di guida sportiva. Nei
due giorni di corso viene utilizzata una metodo-logia
didattica specifica e personalizzata su vetture Ferrari,
in pista e negli esercizi di controllo vettura.
- Corso Avanzato: per quei clienti che hanno
già partecipato al Corso di Guida Sportiva, la
Ferrari offre la possibilità di effettuare uno stage di
approfondimento, in cui è previsto un uso intensivo
e specialistico delle Ferrari con nozioni avanzate di
guida veloce e di controllo vettura.
- Corso Evoluzione: in questa fase i clienti possono
integrare le tecniche di guida di una Ferrari stradale
con le particolari caratteristiche richieste per una
vettura da corsa come la F430 Challenge.
- Corso Challenge: rappresenta la massima e naturale
evoluzione dei tre livelli precedenti. Una progressione
di contenuti votata all’ottimizzazione della tecnica di
guida, sviluppata con utilizzon intensivo dei modelli
F430 Challenge e 430 Scuderia. È

tuition for learners from all kinds of driving backgrounds

The courses are designed, in fact, to take drivers all
the way through the different levels of instruction to
competitive racing level, with the further possibility of

Dal 1993 i clienti hanno la possibilità di iscriversi
al campionato monomarca “Ferrari Challenge Trofeo
Pirelli”, articolato in tre serie (Italia, Europa e Nord
America), per un totale di oltre 20 gare ogni anno.
La protagonista è la F430 Challenge, versione della
F430 preparata appositamente per le competizioni.
Possono competere sia i piloti esordienti, desiderosi
di confrontarsi in gara dopo aver terminato
l’apprendimento nei corsi Pilota Ferrari, sia quelli che
hanno già esperienza agonistica: ai primi è dedicata la
Coppa Shell, mentre i secondi competono nel Trofeo
Pirelli.
CAMPIONATI GT
Sono il top delle competizioni a ruote coperte,
aperte a tutte le case automobilistiche, a cui Ferrari
partecipa attraverso team privati nella categoria GT2,
con il costante supporto dei responsabili della casa
madre. La vettura utilizzata è la F430 GTC, ulteriore
evoluzione della F430 Challenge: una vettura che

FXX PROGRAMME
È la massima espressione dell’automobilismo non
agonistico: si basa sulla vettura-laboratorio FXX, che
si distingue non solo per le incredibili prestazioni, ma
anche per il particolare programma di collaborazione
tecnica. Infatti i clienti-collaudatori che hanno
acquistato le 29 vetture messe in produzione
(utilizzabili solo in pista) partecipano a un programma
di ricerca e sviluppo che si concretizza in una serie di
sessioni sulle piste di tutto il mondo, con l’assistenza
diretta dei tecnici di Maranello.

FERRARI CHALLENGE TROFEO PIRELLI
The Prancing Horse’s client-drivers have had their own
dedicated championship, the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo
Pirelli, since 1993. The championship is split into three
different series (Italian, European and North American)
with more than 20 races each year. It stars the F430
Challenge, a special track-ready version of the F430.
Both debuting drivers that have completed the Pilota
Ferrari Driving Courses and more experienced track
drivers may compete: the former in the Coppa Shell
and the latter in the Trofeo Pirelli.
GT CHAMPIONSHIPS
These are the very pinnacle of the enclosed wheel
competitions and are open to all marques. Ferrari
participates in the GT2 category through private teams
but provides constant support to the latter. The car
used is the F430 GTC, a further evolution of the Ferrari
F430 Challenge. The GTC has shone in the FIA GT2
and American Le Mans Series in recent years, taking
drivers’, manufacturers’ and team titles across the
board.
FXX PROGRAMME
The FXX Programme is the absolute pinnacle of
non-competitive driving. It centres around the FXX,
a test bench-prototype unique not only in terms
of its incredible performance but also its technical
collaboration programme. In fact, when the client testdrivers purchased the 29 track-only FXXs built, they
also signed up for a special research and development
programme which involves a series of sessions at
circuits across the glove. Needless to say, Maranello
technicians provide all the necessary assistance at
these sessions.

599XX PROGRAMME
Basato sulla vettura-laboratorio 599XX, berlinetta
sportiva estrema concepita per un uso esclusivo
in circuito, l’omonimo programma organizzato nel
biennio 2010/2011è costituito da un pacchetto di
eventi su scala mondiale, nei quali un team ufficiale
di tecnici fornisce tutta l’assistenza ed il supporto a
questo inedito ed esclusivo gruppo di Clienti-Piloti
Collaudatori: una formula collaudata nel 2006 con il
Programma FXX per studiare insieme le soluzioni del
futuro. Sessioni di prove in pista e briefing improntati
sulla sofisticata telemetria compongono la giornatatipo del programma 599XX.
F1 CLIENTI
Per finire, i clienti possono acquistare una monoposto
di F1. Ovviamente non sono molte le vetture
disponibili, a partire da quelle degli anni ’70 fino alle
più recenti: devono comunque aver terminato l’attività
agonistica da almeno due anni, per proteggere la
confidenzialità delle soluzioni tecnologiche adottate.
Per questi piloti speciali vengono organizzati eventi
non competitivi che rientrano nell’ambito delle altre
manifestazioni gestie ogni anno da Maranello: Ferrari
Days, Challenge e Finali Mondiali. Sempre con tutta
l’assistenza tecnica e logistica dello staff dell’azienda.
Durante gli eventi organizzati da Corse Clienti è
inoltre attiva un’ampia hospitality dedicata, dove
clienti e piloti hanno la possibilità di rilassarsi tra
una sessione e l’altra, rimanendo sempre aggiornati
sull’andamento delle attività in pista grazie.

599XX PROGRAMME
Also referred to as a “laboratorio tecnologico” or
technological test bench, the 599XX is an extreme
berlinetta designed exclusively for track use. The
eponymous two-year programme for 2010/2011
encompasses a package of events across the world,
in which an official team of technicians will provide
trackside assistance and support to a unique and
exclusive group of client-test drivers. This formula
was first tested out in 2006 with the FXX Programme
to allow Ferrari develop the solutions of the future
in collaboration with its clients. An average day in
the 599XX programme will involve a combination of
track test-driving sessions and briefings based on
sophisticated telemetry readings.
F1 CLIENTI
Last but very far from least, Ferrari clients can now
purchase retired F1 single-seaters. Clearly not too many
of these cars are available and all were built between
the 1970s and the present day. The only stipulation
is that such cars must have retired from competition
at least two years previously for obvious reasons of
confidentiality regarding the advanced technological
solutions adopted. F1 Clienti also organizes a series
of exhibitions by these drivers as part of its programme
of official events each year: the Ferrari Days, Ferrari
Challenge and World Finals. Needless to say, the
owners of these very special cars enjoy full technical
and logistical assistance from the Company’s staff.
Dedicated hospitality is also provided to ensure that
drivers and clients have the opportunity to completely
relax between sessions whilst remaining constantly
updated with what’s going on out on the track.
