Check out a telescope from the Library! Our partner, the
Astronomical Society of Eastern Missouri, is holding several
Star Parties at our branches so that you can get to know the
telescopes and even take a look at the night sky.
STAR PARTY
Bring the whole family and join experts from the Astronomical Society to
view our amazing universe through telescopes. Get hands-on instruction
to use the telescopes that are available for check-out at our Regional
and General Purpose branches. All ages welcome. Children must be
accompanied by an adult.

discuss the epidemic of prescription drug
abuse and heroin addiction facing the St.
Charles Community. Learn how prescription
drug abuse can lead to heroin use, and how
access to dangerous drugs like heroin has
become easier than ever. Officer Wilson will
also talk about how to recognize signs of
prescription and illegal drug abuse.
