e would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the many people who
showed their love and support to us during the time of the loss of our
wife, mom and grandma, Joyce Melvin. Special thanks goes out to Pastor James
C. Robertson for being with us and for the wonderful service; the Townline
United Methodist Church ladies for the luncheon; Ryan Oliver, Floyd Decker
and the staff at D.L. Miller Funeral Home and to each of you that were there
for us with prayers, cards, food and personal support. We also want to offer our
deepest appreciation to two outstanding organizations that were by our side
during this journey. Hospice at Home was truly a Godsend, with a staff that
assisted our family with such dignity and respect during this transition. River
Ridge Retirement Village welcomed us and treated us as a part of their familly
from day one and offered so much more than just daily care for Mom. Both of
these organizations were so helpful, caring and professional.
