conference, in.conjunction with the
National Arab American Students'
5th annual conference, was a raging
success. .

Cook (human rights activist).

American professional associations
discussed the positive impact they
have made on their communities.

Young Professionals of Boston).

Activism - contributing to your
community while maintaining a full
time job. Panelists: Dr. Henry

Sarabal-Jijakli (NAAP - New
York).
Throughout the 3 day Conference,

In the evenings, NAAP organi~ed
social gatherings for conference
attendees and a Banquet (The Arab
American Spirit) featuring comedian Ahmed Ahmed, live music with
Tony Marsho and Tair Aouni, and a
DJ. This was a weekend that is still
being talked about, a momentous
event for NAAP-NY, and hopefully, only the first of many conferences organized by NAAP for the
Arab American community.
