Families are discovering there’s so much more to life at the Village of SouthFields; community groups, seasonal events, sports and recreation - even the occasional friendly competition. With winter chill in the air, Coscorp and Monarch organized an exciting street hockey tournament for the kids of SouthFields. Spirits ran high and competition was tough but in the end, everyone cheered as Team Penguins took the trophy. The SouthFields Village Residents Group is hosting their traditional fundraising horsedrawn wagon rides through the community to see the holiday lights and decorations on December 6th and 13th from 6 pm to 9 pm. At SouthFields, residents enjoy a rich village life, where neighbours know each other by name and the community connects together. T he SouthFields Residents A ssociation together with Monarch and Coscorp are planning traditional horse-drawn wagon rides through the communit y to see the holiday lights and decorations. Neighbours gather at the Village Center and in winter, the park-side pond will be a picture perfect skating scene.
