Greetings Members,
It has been another fantastic year for the AAMHC. The club had a great
Fun show on August 23, 2015. With 18-20 horses exhibited. Thanks to
everyone that assisted with the Fun Show. We have an excellent group of
members that work well together.
The next November meeting will be held at the October Clinic. The date of
the Clinic and meeting will be announced when the clinic is scheduled.
We hope to see everyone at the next meeting in October.

SECRETARY REPORT
Secretary Report
The membership meeting was held at the Benton County Fairgrounds on August 22, 2015.
Seventeen members were present.
President Dave Robinson brought the meeting to order. Gary Price read the Treasurer’s
report. Stephanie Kinney read the secretary report.
Old Business:
Amy Price reported she is waiting to hear from the West Branch Vet Clinic about a gelding
clinic.
A discussion was held about a club 2015 fall clinic. It was suggested to ask Robby Barth to
do the clinic. Possibly a halter clinic one day and driving clinic the next day on a weekend. It
was also suggested to possibly hold a 2016 spring clinic. Gary & Amy Price agreed to host
the clinic at their farm. Stephanie Kinney made a motion to have the club ask Robby Barth to
do a fall 2015 clinic, with a fee up to $250 per day. Larry Lowe seconded the motion. Motion
carried.
Stephanie Kinney mentioned that camping fees at the Benton County Fairgrounds have
been increased to $10 per night for our Fun Show, effective August 22, 2015. Campers have
been paying $5 per night. The Benton County Fairgrounds remodeled the bathrooms that
now have showers installed. The fairgrounds manager thanked AAMHC for their past
donations that made the bathroom renovations possible.
New Business:
There was discussion of possibly moving our 2016 AAMHC sanctioned show date from June
11 & 12, 2015 back to Father’s Day weekend, due to a shortage of show managers. AAMHC
will check with Kirkwood to see if the Barrel Race club is willing to switch weekends. The
other issue is the Gordyville show is also on Father’s Day weekend. Further discussion was
tabled until the next meeting.
The November meeting will be held at the October clinic. Date of the meeting will be
announced once the October clinic is scheduled.
There was one exhibitor at the 2015 AAMHC sanctioned show that was unable to attend the
show due to certain circumstances. It was discussed whether to refund her entry & stall fees.
Ron Jackson made a motion to refund all of the fees (stalls, entries, etc.). Stephanie Kinney
seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Tammy Lowe made a motion to adjourn the meeting.

the date has been set.
