The Maison Fossier, formerly the Maison Noël-Houzeau, was taken up in 1845 by Eugène Fossier and is considered
the oldest biscuit factory in France.
The tradition of baking goes back to 1430 in the city of Reims, with the foundation of the Guild of Baking. Around
1690, Champagne bakers created a recipe for enjoying the warm bread oven after baking bread, to create a sweet
delicacy, from which the "biscuit of Reims" was born. In 1756, during the reign of Louis XV, the company was
founded, and in 1775 the companies biscuits were present at the coronation of Louis XVI at Reims. The company
subsequently became the supplier of biscuits to the King, and in 1825 received a diploma with the Royal seal of
King Charles X, recognizing the quality of the biscuits.
Since then the Maison Fossier has been on the rise, working its way into the hearts and stomachs thanks to its topselling product: the pink biscuit or biscuit rose. Maison Fossier combines the good taste of yesterday with more
modern flavours to satisfy all gourmets.

The Pink Champagne Biscuit was born 300 years ago in Reims, the capital of the Champagne region. It is one of the
oldest French biscuits and one of the last genuine "biscuits". Since then it has kept all its authenticity.
Its unique texture, tender rose color and delicate icing powder have charmed connoisseurs. The Biscuit Rose
tradition is to dunk it in a glass of Champagne or wine. They're also delicious dunked in coffee, tea or hot chocolate.
Festive, it enchants the palate and surprises the finest gourmets!

Galup was founded by Pietro Ferrua in 1922. His idea and his recipe were to create a low Panettone with a hazelnut
frosting. A brilliant, tasty innovation that offers a new take on an ancient tradition of the Lombardy region, giving
rise to a new staple of fine Piedmontese pastry-making.
The recipe has been fine-tuned over the years, but the basic characteristics have remained the same as those
created by Mr. Ferrua back in 1922, which led to his pastry shop earning the title of licensed supplier for the Royal
House of Savoy.
Galup know-how to make the Panettone is irreplaceable. A piece of Italian history!
