DEPARTAMENTO DE TRANSPORTE DE MASSACHUSETTS
PRIVILEGIOS PARA NO RESIDENTES Massachusetts confiere a no residentes
los mismos privilegios que a los residentes del estado.
LÍMITES DE VELOCIDAD No exceda los límites de velocidad que aparecen
en los avisos.
CARGA PELIGROSA Está prohibido llevar carga peligrosa (HC en inglés) y
conducir camiones cisterna en los túneles de Boston.
CONDUCCIÓN EN ESTADO DE EMBRIAGUEZ Massachusetts vela
rigurosamente por el cumplimiento de estas leyes.
USO DE DISPOSITIVOS ELECTRÓNICOS MÓVILES Está prohibido que
alguien use cualquier dispositivo electrónico móvil para redactar, enviar o
leer mensajes electrónicos (incluyendo mensajes de texto, correo electrónico,
chats o páginas web) mientras conduce algún vehículo. Las personas
menores de 18 años tienen prohibido usar cualquier tipo de dispositivo
electrónico móvil por cualquier razón mientras conducen un vehículo
motorizado. Solamente se exceptúa el reporte de emergencias.

de fuego expedido en Massachusetts. El porte de armas de fuego sin
salvoconducto ni autorización es un delito con pena mínima obligatoria de
un año de cárcel.
BASURA Está prohibido arrojar basura en las carreteras públicas. A quienes
violen esta ley se les hará pagar una multa de no menos de $200 y no más
de $3.000 y se les suspenderán su licencia de conducción y el registro de
su vehículo. Por favor ayúdenos a mantener limpias nuestras carreteras. Por
favor no arroje basura.
CAMIONES DETENIDOS CON EL MOTOR EN MARCHA En todas las
zonas de servicio de Massachusetts los operarios de camiones podrán tener
sus vehículos detenidos con el motor en marcha un máximo de cinco minutos.

hacia un lado si puede. Encienda las luces intermitentes de emergencia.

de emergencia venga a prestarle asistencia.
HÁGASE A UN LADO Hágase a un lado y disminuya la velocidad cuando
haya vehículos de emergencia cerca.
CINTURONES DE SEGURIDAD Las leyes de Massachusetts exigen que toda
persona que viaje en un vehículo esté bien asegurada con un cinturón de
seguridad o un arnés de emergencia para niños.
ESTÁ ESTRICTAMENTE PROHIBIDO ESTACIONARSE EN LOS CARRILES
PARA BOMBEROS DE LAS ESTACIONES DE SERVICIO Dichos carriles son
solamente para vehículos de emergencia. Massachusetts vela estrictamente
por el cumplimiento de esta ley.

presta servicio diario de bus, tren, tranvía y transbordador
(ferry) a lo largo y ancho de Boston y los municipios circundantes.
Para identificar las estaciones busque una
negra sobre un aviso
circular blanco. Pague su pasaje con una CharlieCard (tarjeta
plástica reutilizable y recargable) o con un CharlieTicket (boleto de
papel) que puede comprar en más de 500 máquinas expendedoras
localizadas en todas las estaciones de tren subterráneo y en los
terminales del aeropuerto Logan. En las estaciones de tren a nivel
del suelo y en las paradas de buses pague su pasaje a bordo. En
todas las máquinas expendedoras hay disponibles LinkPasses que
