5 THINGS NOT
TO IGNORE ABOUT YOUR EYES
WHAT TO DO IN

Introduction
This year sees Eyeworks London celebrate it’s 5th birthday. We are proud to say that we
have come a long way since we first opened our doors just half a decade ago.
Over the last 5 years we have amassed over 6000 customers and won 2 industry awards
- the coveted Young Practice of the Year Award and then most recently Fashion Practice
of the Year. Through our sister company, Eyeworks For Film, we have provided hand painted
contact lenses for several blockbuster movies including Les Miserables, Maleficent, Child
44, Woman in Gold, Penny Dreadful and Peaky Blinders to name just a few.
Perhaps our proudest achievement lies in the loyal support we have received from the
people of Gloucester Road. It has been a pleasure to serve the local community and we
hope to do so for many more years to come. For those of you who have supported us
over the years and become important members of the Eyeworks family, we thank you very
much. And for those who have yet to visit Eyeworks London, next time you’re passing please
do pop in to say hello. I hope you enjoy our magazine, designed to give you a closer look
at Eyeworks London.

Eyeworks London, along with it’s sister company Eyeworks for Film,
provides specialist contact lenses for the film and TV industry

Game of Thrones
Eyeworks For Film provided contact lenses
for the 5th series of worldwide sensation
Game of Thrones. We travelled to the set in
Northern Ireland to fit contact lenses for the
mythological and menacing White Walkers.
Peaky Blinders
Late last year we fitted the charming Cillian
Murphy with contact lenses for the second
series of gangster epic, Peaky blinders. The
large hand painted contact lenses gave the
appearance of a haemorrhage and helped
make Cillian look more than worse for wear
after his character got on the wrong side of

Look out for the amazingly talented Eleanor

Spall in the Sky series the Enfield Haunting.
She plays a young girl who claims to be

Method
Add the honey, soya sauce and olive oil to a bowl then add
10g runny honey
30ml soya sauce

Half a orange
2x 120g salmon fillets (skin on)
120g spinach
200g tender stem broccoli
2 ripe avocados

ingredients. Add the salmon to the bowl and turn a few times to

Take the salmon from the bowl and place in a non-stick baking
tray skin side down. Place in the oven and cook at 200c, remove
the salmon from the oven after 8 minutes and drizzle each fillet
sparingly with honey. Ensure the honey is spread evenly and
covers the corners of the fish. Place back in the oven for further

Boil the broccoli for about 5 minutes or until the stems become

spinach to wilt it.
Serve the salmon on a bed of wilted spinach and garnish with
broccoli, sliced avocados and sunflower seeds.
