NOTICE OF ANNUAL
GENERAL MEETING
MARCH 14, 2007
he annual general meeting of the
New Hampshire Ski Club will take place
at 7:00 PM on MARCH 14 (2ND WEDS.) at
the Derryfield Restaurant in Manchester, NH. In
accordance with the bylaws of the NHSC, elections for club officers and the board of directors
will take place at this meeting.
Members in good standing at the time of the
election will receive a single secret ballot to be
cast at the meeting. Family memberships shall
have one vote for each family member over
18 years of age with a maximum of two votes per
family membership as listed in the current, active
NHSC database.
You must be present at the annual general
meeting to vote.
Submit Nominations by February 23
If you would like to nominate someone
for office or a board member position, or are
interested in running for position, please submit
your nomination/intention to the nominating
committee via our online form or email to
[email protected] with your name, brief
bio/statement, photo (optional, jpg good quality)
for inclusion in the March issue of Happy Trails.
Additionally, nominations duly moved and
seconded may also be made by members of the
club from the floor at the February Meeting.
These nominations will be added to the ballot for
the election at the general meeting in March.

Several NHSC members took
part in the Central Mass Ski
Group’s trip to Stowe last
month. A great deal & the
conditions were sweet!
In the late days of January when all to be seen around Manch-vegas
was brown and grey terrain, 14 brave souls journeyed to Jay Peak. As
is fairly typical for NHSC trips, Jay received about 30 inches of snow
just prior to arrival, followed by 2 to 6 inches on most nights throughout the week. Skiing was great as was the food and accommodations.
Rumor has it that the 3 old dudes rooming with young “Ben” in condo
2004 had the best parties, with 15 or so one nite and maybe 40 plus
on the next when the Cincinnati ski club arrived. Sorry the 50-Mile Rule
precludes further details. Club

2007 CHaD SKI & RIDE CHALLENGE
Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth (CHaD), New Hampshire’s children’s
hospital, is putting the call out to skiers across New England to ski or snowboard and raise money to help New Hampshire and Vermont’s sickest kids.
The event takes place at four locations this winter:
Feb. 24 - Suicide Six, Woodstock, VT
Mar. 3 - Whaleback Mountain, Enfield, NH
Mar. 17 - Waterville Valley, NH
Mar. 24 - Cannon Mountain, NH
