Father Yozefu-Balikuddembe Ssemakula, or
Fr. Joseph, is the author of “The Healing of
Families.” He was ordained to the holy
priesthood in 1993 in Kampala, Uganda.
After a few years of service in his home country, he was
part of a grand First Evangelization effort in Darfur,
Sudan, for 10 years. He is serving in the Diocese of
Pensacola-Tallahassee, Florida, and is currently a
graduate student of Psychology at the University of
Notre Dame in Indiana. He has been involved in the
ministry of prayer for the healing of (cont. on page 2)

Pope Emeritus, Benedict XVI, declared a Year of Faith
beginning on October 11, 2012 and ending on The Feast
of Christ the King, November 24, 2013.
According to a decree made public October 5, 2012,
Benedict XVI granted a Plenary Indulgence for the
occasion of the Year of Faith. The indulgence will be
valid from the opening of the Year until its end. The
actual text of the decree, in case you missed it, is as
follows: "The day of the fiftieth anniversary
of the solemn opening of Vatican Council
II, the Supreme Pontiff Benedict XVI has
decreed the beginning of a Year especially
dedicated to the profession of the true
faith and its correct interpretation

Many of you have experienced what some
refer to as the “full wrath of hell” being
unleashed against you since you picked up
this devotion. Many priests we have spoken
to have confirmed that this is normal. Satan
fights the things that deal a death blow to him and his

having the finished book
printed. The first two sent letters
with quotes and other helpful

text then printed my book and

the Diocese of Enugu, in
Nigeria, appointed Rev. Msgr.
Ferdinand Okpalaibekwe as
Chaplain of the Association of
the Precious Blood of Jesus.
This is yet another step forward in the approval process
of this devotion. Bishop
Onaga, we have been told,
approved this devotion by
issuing an official statement in
November 2012. We are still
trying to bring you a copy of
that document to share with
you so you can share it with
your priests and bishops.
Thank the Good Lord for
opening the hearts and doors that were necessary so that
this devotion may soon be practiced by the whole world!
We pray for a fruitful working relationship with Msgr.
Okpalaibekwe, as we continue to move forward in our

I attended one of these conferences recently. Quite
frankly, I was dragged there because it did not interest
me. I had already done some “family healing” things in
the past and I felt I was good. I didn’t really need
another one. Things were hectic at work, I didn’t have

access points into your life from all four categories that

surprise was to learn that many of those doors through
which satan enters to mess up your life are actually
opened by friends and family members for you! That is
why no matter how hard you tried, worked or prayed,

A HEALING THAT WILL
CHANGE YOUR LIFE
What if it was possible to close all the doors through
which satan and his minions have access to your life and
the lives of your loved ones and make him take his
infernal baggage with him? What if you could then fill
that void left by his departure with the fullness of the
Holy Spirit? Then what if you could seal all those access
doors to your life with the Precious Blood of Jesus to
keep him out for good? What if the only burdens you
had to carry from then on were the sweet, light burdens
Jesus spoke of in scripture? “For my yoke is sweet and
my burden light.” (Matt 11:30). Wouldn’t that be
wonderful!? Well, it is possible, it is happening to the
faithful all over the world who are flocking to Fr. Joseph

Let me tell you, it is not like anything you have
participated in before. All of Fr. Joseph’s presentations

of God, the healing and conversion of loved ones, or
whatever you desire, much as our early
Church Fathers and the Saints did. Your
prayers will have a fresh new power
since you will have removed all the
blockages from the evil one that
exhaust you mentally and emotionally
and may, at times, drive you to the
brink of despair. Your separated family
members will have an easier time
returning to the Lord once the playing
field has been “leveled” and they are no
longer living on the “slippery slope.”

Great Month of July starts out with the Feast of the
Precious Blood of Jesus on the 1st. (This Feast was
moved and combined with the Feast of Corpus Christi in
the Novus Ordo Rite.) Then we have an entire month of
reparation prayer offered to Our Heavenly Father during
the month dedicated to the Precious Blood of Jesus: July
1-9th, A Novena in Honor of the Nine Choirs of Angels;
July 13-15th, Prayer in Honor of the Most Holy Trinity;
July 20-31st, Prayer for the New Israel.
Our Lord uses this powerful month of reparation,
sacrifice and prayer to turn back the tide
of evil enveloping the world. We
usually experience a virtual explosion
of grace, many wonderful things have
happened in this apostolate following
the month of July prayers. Also, Our
Lord revealed great promises for
anyone who completes all the days of
reparation during the month. They will
be listed in next month’s newsletter. So
get prepared, outline your strategy, set
up your daily schedule and make this
July truly great! Pray it well!

BISHOP PARKES SAYS “RISE &
FLOURISH AMONG the FAITHFUL”
FREE WILL, HEAVEN &
HOW TO GET THERE SAFELY
On the 50th anniversary of Vatican II and the Opening
Day of the Year of Faith, I had the honor of meeting
with our new Bishop for the first time, His Excellency
Gregory L. Parkes. We spoke of the evangelization the
Association has done, with your help, in 55 countries
and growing, and yet, we discussed, we have not done
anything in our home diocese. On November 30th, I
received a letter from His Excellency saying in part,
“The Church encourages lay people, like you, to
dedicate themselves to the Gospel message through
prayer and other spiritual devotions. Our Diocese is
blessed with other lay Catholics, as well, who are trying
to offer encouragement and hope to everyone they meet
along the road of life. The important thing to remember
about the Churches’ encouragement is that movements
like that to the Precious Blood must first rise and
flourish among the faithful. This means that one person
at a time, you and your community can positively influence the lives of others to see
the virtues of this special
devotion to the Precious
Blood of Our Lord.” Our
good Bishop is asking us to
evangelize and share the
fruits of this great devotion.
We have already done this in
55 countries of the world, so
now he asks us to bring this

Imagine the world as a giant chess match between
“good” and “evil.” Here you would see Satan playing
against the likes of St Michael or Our Lady, all the while
God follows the game with keen interest. Imagine the
difficulty of the game if the “good” pieces refused to be
moved as requested. Imagine if a pawn wanted to be the
queen, a knight wanted to move like a rook, the rook
didn’t want to go to the particular space it was moved to
and the bishop just flatly refused to move at all! What
would be the outcome of this chaotic game? How could
good possibly triumph?
Look at human life in the time we are living in.
Because we have free will, we can move and do and say
and think whatever we want no matter how void of truth,
love, virtue or fact it may be. Yes, even many Catholics
have this problem. We are rebellious chess pieces
refusing to allow the Master to move us in a manner that
would best win this game for
souls. We believe WE know
best, or that we would just like
to do what pleases us in that
particular moment, or we’ll
think about God’s idea and
even say we’ll “pray about it,”
but not really pray at all
because our minds are already
made up. Yet God has a plan.
He WANTS the salvation of
every single soul that He

REPARATION & THE GREAT
MONTH of JULY
OF SCHISMATICS & VISIONARIES
Reparation is a theological concept and one of the
deepest mysteries of our Catholic Faith. God, in His
Almighty Providence, did not choose to wipe away all
trace of our sins completely with the redeeming act of
His Son; rather, He judged it better to demand
satisfaction for the injuries which man had done to Him.
It is better for man's education and spiritual growth that
wrong-doing on his part should require an act of
reparation. This act brings about humility, compunction,
a firm desire not to offend God or his neighbor again,
patient understanding when dealing with the faults of
others, long-suffering, peace and a host of other good,
holy, solid virtues. In our acts of reparation to God for
our sins and the sins of others, we join our sacrifices,
fastings, mortifications, sufferings and prayer to those of
Our Lord and say with St Paul, (continued on page 6)

When trials came to the Church in the past, the saints
never advocated fleeing the Church, nor open rebellion
against her authorities. Jesus would never advocate a war
between his faithful and his own Church! Whenever the
Church suffered her dark days, Our Lord always raised
up a great saint or two to right the wrongs and guide us
through them. If you feel we are in those times, pray for
that great saint or saints to come forward and right
whatever wrongs you see. Pray and sacrifice! Your
prayer is meritorious and worth a great deal and the
prayers to the Precious Blood of Jesus are the most
powerful on earth outside of the Mass. (cont. on page 7)

Virgin Mary and, depending on the circumstances, to the
Holy Apostles and patron saints.
(C) Each time that, on the days designated by the
local ordinary for the Year of Faith, ... in any sacred
place, they participate in a solemn celebration of the
Eucharist or the Liturgy of the Hours, adding thereto the
Profession of Faith in any legitimate form.
(D) On any day they chose, during the Year of
Faith, if they make a pious visit to the baptistery, or
other place in which they received the Sacrament of
Baptism, and there renew their baptismal promises in
any legitimate form."

wife dedicated to raising their five children. Although a
prominent figure throughout the South American
continent, he remains a simple pastor who is deeply
loved by his diocese, throughout which he has travelled
extensively by subway and by bus during the 15 years of

“My people are poor and I am one of them”, he has

small apartment and cook his own supper. He has always
advised his priests to show mercy and apostolic courage

thing that could happen to the Church, he has said on
various occasions, “is what de Lubac called spiritual
worldliness,” which means,
“being self-centered.” When
he speaks of social justice, he
calls people first of all to pick
up the Catechism, to rediscover the Ten Commandments
and the Beatitudes. His project
is simple: if you follow Christ,
you understand that “trampling
upon a person’s dignity is a
serious sin.”… one sin that
many of us are guilty of and all
must be careful to avoid!

taking the name of St. Francis
Assisi, whose name, Giovanni
di Pietro di Bernardone, means
John of Peter the Roman.

ANNIVERSARY: JUNE 26
A QUICK GUIDE TO INDULGENCES
A woman once told me, in reference to the effort she
was going to have to exert in gaining a special
indulgence from the Church, “God KNOWS that I want
it and He’s not going to be caught up in the details. He
will give it to me because He KNOWS I WANT IT.”
The mere fact that the Church proclaims an indulgence
does not imply that it can be gained without any effort
on the part of the faithful at all! The more valuable
things in this life require a greater effort to obtain. Don’t
fall into spiritual indolence (sloth) as the woman above.
Rules for Plenary Indulgences;
1. Sacramental Confession, 20 days before or after the
prescribed work.
2. *Prayers for the Holy Father’s intentions.
3..*Communion; it is not necessary to attend a Mass,
only reception of the Sacrament is required.
4. *The prescribed work.
5. *You must be free from the guilt of mortal sin.
6..*You must have the intention of gaining the
indulgence.
7. *You must have the interior disposition of complete
detachment from sin, even venial sin.
(*these items should all be offered or met the same day
the indulgence is desired.)
Rules for Partial Indulgences;
1. Confession is not obligatory, but you must make your
offering at least with a contrite heart.
2. All the rest of the above, marked with an*
Indulgences can always be applied either to oneself or
to the souls of the deceased, but they cannot be applied
to other living persons. Only one plenary indulgence can
be obtained each day, but unlimited partial indulgences
can be obtained daily under the above requirements.
One exception is the five-fold scapular with which you
can receive 433 plenary indulgences for the deceased
each day. See our special offer on page 11.

was thy covering:… gold the work of thy beauty:…were
prepared in the day that thou wast created…” Lucifer,
which means “shining one” or “morning star,” was
created perfect in all his ways, a masterpiece of God’s
creation who was ranked among the choir of Cherubim.
God had allotted Lucifer a certain amount of power and
authority for a special mission above all other angels.
“Thou a cherub stretched out, and protecting, and I
set thee in the holy mountain of God, thou hast walked
in the midst of the stones of fire…”
Lucifer’s mission from God was to cover and protect.
All of heaven and earth were open to him and his
authority amongst the angels was second to God alone.
But what was he entrusted to protect? Was his mission
to protect the earth, which he instead corrupted? Or was
he appointed to be the guardian and protector of all of
humanity, God’s beloved creatures, whom he is now
trying to destroy? Ezekiel continues “Thou wast perfect
in thy ways from the day of thy creation, until iniquity
was found in thee. By the multitude of thy merchandise,
thy inner parts were filled with iniquity, and thou hast
sinned: and I cast thee out from the Mountain of God,
and destroyed thee, O covering cherub, out of the midst
of the stones of fire.” Lucifer allowed a vapor of pride to
enter his heart. It fermented and grew causing all other
sins to grow with it: rebellion, deception, destruction,
rage and hard-heartedness. In his absolute perfection,
unparalleled beauty and supreme intelligence, he could
not bear to have to stoop so low as to be the servant of

they claim the copyright is theirs. As you can plainly see
that is absolutely not true. The work they printed,
however, is not exactly what I wrote. The owner of
Queenship, made numerous edits and changes to my
work, about 176 of them, filling her version of my book
with errors (some theological) that did not originate with
this devotion in any way! Note that the date of creation
is listed as 2004 on my copyright certificate, this is very
important.
Queenship’s Imprimatur was cut and pasted from
another source. It was not given by that Bishop to that
book. You can clearly see this since the Imprimatur is
dated June 17, 2001, and my book was not written until
2004 (see above). How did the Bishop grant an
Imprimatur three years before I finished writing it? The
Bishop has to actually READ the work to give it an
Imprimatur! Bishop Ayo-Maria, who is listed as giving
the Imprimatur to the Queenship book, is not the Bishop
of Enugu where the apparitions are taking place. This
fake Imprimatur is the second lie, and there are more…
For years we have tried to find someone to help us
expose these public deceptions, but the Queenship
money machine, and her associates have made our lives
very difficult to say the least. They have profited greatly,
on the sale of our book, and we receive nothing at all.
They have run a slander campaign designed to destroy
us literally all over the world. Our only help was God
alone, until the Archdiocese broke the story.
We know many of you have received wildly
scandalous statements from Queenship Publishing and a
woman named Aurora Protomartir from Houston, Texas,
under the name “Precious Blood Apostolate USA.” If
you have received anything in print from either of these
groups, please forward a copy to us. If they have
slandered us on the phone to you, write down what they
said and send it to us. It is time to demand an accounting
of their actions. The deception pulled off by these two
organizations has prevented us from sending hundreds of
thousands of free books into the missions of the world!

scandalized in his regard. But Jesus said to them: A
prophet is not without honor, save in his own country,
and in his own house.” (Matt 13:57). Bishop Parkes

created with such great love. He does not WANT to lose
a single one, but having given us the great gift and
responsibility of free-will, we are allowed to, and
actually do make dozens of choices daily without ever
thinking of the ramifications of our casually disobedient
or horrifically sinful acts. But what if we DID act, move
and live according to His Will alone and not our own
passing fancies?
“Oh well, I just want to squeak inside the backdoor of
heaven,” I have heard many say. But if you aim so low,
what if you miss completely?! “None of my
friends are going to heaven, so why should I
even try!” Yet so many sinners are saved
daily through the reparation and prayers of a
small but powerful army of prayer warriors
operating world-wide. What a surprise to find
at your judgment that all your friends were
saved by the sacrifices and prayers of people
they did not even know, but there was just not
enough left to save you! What a horror! There
will be nothing you will be able to do at that
time to rectify the situation! Do not let your
salvation be determined by the kind efforts
and sacrifices, or lack of them, of strangers.
Take matters into your own hands for your
family and loved ones. The difference
between heaven and an eternity of separation
from our Loving Father, Our Dearest Mother Mary,
Jesus, Our Lord and Savior, all the angels, saints and our
loved ones, ALL that is good, holy, desirable and
beautiful in this world and more; is SO great! There is
NO decision more profoundly important on the face of
this earth than working out your own personal
salvation. Yet so few souls have given it more than a
brief passing thought as above.
What do we do? Simple. We have found, researched
about and/or personally tested powerful prayer methods,
sacramentals and natural remedies, none of which are
condemned by the Catholic Church, and we will report
our findings to you through this series of newsletters.
We will warn you when the Church cautions against
something or someone. In this way, we can all find and
follow the safest path for ourselves and our loved ones
through this “dark valley” that we are treading. For the
serious prayer warrior, we will show you the most
powerful manner to bring the greatest number of souls to
salvation. In all things, PRAY and TRUST in the Lord.
He wants all possible good for you. “Wilt thou have
confidence in his great strength, and leave thy
labors to him?” (Job 39:11)
that it is I, “who now rejoice in my sufferings for you,
and fill up those things that are wanting of the sufferings
of Christ, in my flesh, for his body, which is the church”
(Colossians 1:24). There is nothing “wanting” in
Christ’s sacrifice at all, rather we should look at that
word as “want” meaning “desire.” Jesus forged a path
for us to follow and it is His desire that we offer up our
sufferings in reparation for our brothers and sisters who
are in need in the world, just as He did. The Holy man
Job did this also, “And when the days of their feasting
were gone about, Job sent to them, and
sanctified them: and rising up early offered
holocausts for every one of them. For he said:
Lest perhaps my sons have sinned.”(Job 1:5).
God the Father, has ordained that we are to
make voluntary acts of reparation to His justice
for all the offences committed against Him
throughout the world, such as abortion,
murder, euthanasia, sins of the flesh, etc. These
acts of reparation, when offered in union with
the greatest act of reparation the world has
known; the sufferings, crucifixion and death of
Our Lord Jesus, and the untold sufferings of
his Mother Mary as she stood at the foot of his
Cross; these holy acts will repair the
relationship between God and man and bring
about a great peace in the world. Any holy
action offered in union with the Blood of Jesus, has the
power to calm the wrath of the Eternal Father and bring
healing and peace.
Set aside a regular time for reparation and
spend some quiet time in prayer or Adoration, asking
God to forgive you and your whole family for their
faults and failings. Pray the prayer of Daniel, “We have
sinned, we have committed iniquity, we have done
wickedly, and have revolted: and we have gone aside
from thy commandments, and thy judgments.” (Dan
9:5). You will see a profound difference in your life and
the lives of your loved ones if you do! Prayer warriors
will find that days of reparation for abortion, for
government leaders, for scandals in the Church, for those
who are gravely ill, etc., will draw down oceans of grace
on the sector of humanity that they target. Life as we
know it can be dramatically changed for the better. Try
it! And see the difference you can make!
In the Catholic Church, the third Friday of every
month is dedicated to the Precious Blood of Jesus. It is a
day of reparation to make amends to God’s justice for
the sins committed against the Eucharist and the

This is serious!
No one is automatically excommunicated for any
offense if, without any fault of his own, he was unaware
that he was violating a law (CIC 1323:2) or that a
penalty was attached to the law (CIC 1324:1:9). The
same applies if one was a minor, had the imperfect use
of reason, was forced through grave or relatively grave
fear, was forced through serious inconvenience, or in
certain other circumstances (CIC 1324).
Schism is regarded by the Church as a most serious
fault, and is punished with the
penalties inflicted on heresy,
because heresy usually accompanies
it.
“Between heresy and schism, there
is this difference, that heresy
perverts dogma, while schism, by
rebellion against the bishop, separates from the Church. Nevertheless
there is no schism which does not
trump up a heresy to justify its departure from the Church. Practically and historically heresy &
schism nearly always go hand in
hand; schism leads almost invariably to denial of the papal primacy." (In Ep. ad Tit., iii, 10) ~St.

“Maria Divine Mercy,” or MDM for short, who is not
St. Faustina, hides away in anonymity, somewhere in
Ireland, refuses to come forward and meet with her
Bishop, advocates open rebellion against the Church and
even calls Pope Francis "...the imposter, who sits on the
throne in My Church on earth..” (message 3/13/13). She
plants the demonic seeds of slander, distrust, rebellion
and scandal, then sits back in silence and lets the faithful
destroy the Church themselves! I have seen numerous
emails being sent out by normally faithful Catholics
brutally attacking our Holy Father because MDM has
convinced a large number of non-discerning Catholics
that he is the false prophet of the
book of Revelation! Yes folks,
really! Aided by the liberal media
who do their part in exploiting every
action Our Holy Father makes, these
Catholics don’t even question the
fact that they are committing a
seriously grave sin that will bar them
from heaven eternally. They simply
believe these vicious lies because
this woman, whom no one can
identify, tells them to!
No real prophet in the Church’s
history was ever unknown. They had
to come forward to be examined by
competent authorities to ascertain if
they were really called by God,
mentally ill or enemies of the
Church. True, many of them
suffered, but that was part of their
call and their mission. God alone was their comfort and
He knows what He’s doing. Trust him. This MDM
woman apparently does not.
Any Catholic who foments schism by repudiating,
maligning, disparaging, questioning or rejecting the
authority and person of the reigning Pope, the Vicar of
Christ on earth, as duly elected by the College of
Cardinals under the guidance and direction of the Holy
Spirit, is in serious flagrant violation of Canon Law.
Anyone who knowingly and maliciously encourages
and promotes schism automatically excommunicates
himself or herself latæ sententiæ a latin phrase
meaning “sentence [already] passed”
, it is automatic
excommunication upon accomplishment of the deed.

wife dedicated to raising their five children. Although a
prominent figure throughout the South American

is simple: if you follow Christ,
you understand that “trampling
upon a person’s dignity is a
serious sin.”… one sin that
many of us are guilty of and all
must be careful to avoid!
He was elected Supreme
Pontiff on March 13, 2013,
taking the name of St. Francis
Assisi, whose name, Giovanni
di Pietro di Bernardone, means
John of Peter the Roman.

A QUICK GUIDE TO INDULGENCES
A woman once told me, in reference to the effort she
was going to have to exert in gaining a special
indulgence from the Church, “God KNOWS that I want
it and He’s not going to be caught up in the details. He
will give it to me because He KNOWS I WANT IT.”
The mere fact that the Church proclaims an indulgence
does not imply that it can be gained without any effort
on the part of the faithful at all! The more valuable
things in this life require a greater effort to obtain. Don’t
fall into spiritual indolence (sloth) as the woman above.
Rules for Plenary Indulgences;
1. Sacramental Confession, 20 days before or after the
prescribed work.
2. *Prayers for the Holy Father’s intentions.
3..*Communion; it is not necessary to attend a Mass,
only reception of the Sacrament is required.
4. *The prescribed work.
5. *You must be free from the guilt of mortal sin.
6..*You must have the intention of gaining the
indulgence.
7. *You must have the interior disposition of complete
detachment from sin, even venial sin.
(*these items should all be offered or met the same day
the indulgence is desired.)
Rules for Partial Indulgences;
1. Confession is not obligatory, but you must make your
offering at least with a contrite heart.
2. All the rest of the above, marked with an*
Indulgences can always be applied either to oneself or
to the souls of the deceased, but they cannot be applied
to other living persons. Only one plenary indulgence can
be obtained each day, but unlimited partial indulgences
can be obtained daily under the above requirements.
One exception is the five-fold scapular with which you
can receive 433 plenary indulgences for the deceased
each day. See our special offer on page 11.

KNOW YOUR ENEMY (continued from page 1)
from grace? Let’s look at Ezekiel 28: “Thus saith the
Lord God: Thou wast the seal of resemblance, full of
wisdom, and perfect in beauty. Thou wast in the
pleasures of the paradise of God: every precious stone
was thy covering:… gold the work of thy beauty:…were
prepared in the day that thou wast created…” Lucifer,
which means “shining one” or “morning star,” was
created perfect in all his ways, a masterpiece of God’s
creation who was ranked among the choir of Cherubim.
God had allotted Lucifer a certain amount of power and
authority for a special mission above all other angels.
“Thou a cherub stretched out, and protecting, and I
set thee in the holy mountain of God, thou hast walked
in the midst of the stones of fire…”
Lucifer’s mission from God was to cover and protect.
All of heaven and earth were open to him and his
authority amongst the angels was second to God alone.
But what was he entrusted to protect? Was his mission
to protect the earth, which he instead corrupted? Or was
he appointed to be the guardian and protector of all of
humanity, God’s beloved creatures, whom he is now
trying to destroy? Ezekiel continues “Thou wast perfect
in thy ways from the day of thy creation, until iniquity
was found in thee. By the multitude of thy merchandise,
thy inner parts were filled with iniquity, and thou hast
sinned: and I cast thee out from the Mountain of God,
and destroyed thee, O covering cherub, out of the midst
of the stones of fire.” Lucifer allowed a vapor of pride to
enter his heart. It fermented and grew causing all other
sins to grow with it: rebellion, deception, destruction,
rage and hard-heartedness. In his absolute perfection,
unparalleled beauty and supreme intelligence, he could
not bear to have to stoop so low as to be the servant of

Jesus spoke of in scripture? “For my yoke is sweet and
my burden light.” (Matt 11:30). Wouldn’t that be
wonderful!? Well, it is possible, it is happening to the
faithful all over the world who are flocking to Fr. Joseph
Ssemakula’s “Healing of Families” seminars!
Let me tell you, it is not like anything you have
participated in before. All of Fr. Joseph’s presentations
are liberally footnoted with Scripture. Bring your bibles
and follow along. It can be emotionally and mentally

his great strength, and leave thy labors to him?” (Job
39:11). By surrendering your life to the working of the
Holy Spirit and closing the doors to satan and his
minions, life actually runs much smoother, much more
peaceful and much easier! You can then offer voluntary
sacrifices, mortifications & fastings for the greater Glory
of God, the healing and conversion of loved ones, or
whatever you desire, much as our early
Church Fathers and the Saints did. Your
prayers will have a fresh new power
since you will have removed all the
blockages from the evil one that
exhaust you mentally and emotionally
and may, at times, drive you to the
brink of despair. Your separated family
members will have an easier time
returning to the Lord once the playing
field has been “leveled” and they are no
longer living on the “slippery slope.”

Great Month of July starts out with the Feast of the
Precious Blood of Jesus on the 1st. (This Feast was
moved and combined with the Feast of Corpus Christi in
the Novus Ordo Rite.) Then we have an entire month of
reparation prayer offered to Our Heavenly Father during
the month dedicated to the Precious Blood of Jesus: July
1-9th, A Novena in Honor of the Nine Choirs of Angels;
July 13-15th, Prayer in Honor of the Most Holy Trinity;
July 20-31st, Prayer for the New Israel.
Our Lord uses this powerful month of reparation,
sacrifice and prayer to turn back the tide
of evil enveloping the world. We
usually experience a virtual explosion
of grace, many wonderful things have
happened in this apostolate following
the month of July prayers. Also, Our
Lord revealed great promises for
anyone who completes all the days of
reparation during the month. They will
be listed in next month’s newsletter. So
get prepared, outline your strategy, set
up your daily schedule and make this
July truly great! Pray it well!

BISHOP PARKES SAYS “RISE &
FLOURISH AMONG the FAITHFUL”
FREE WILL, HEAVEN &
HOW TO GET THERE SAFELY
On the 50th anniversary of Vatican II and the Opening
Day of the Year of Faith, I had the honor of meeting
with our new Bishop for the first time, His Excellency
Gregory L. Parkes. We spoke of the evangelization the
Association has done, with your help, in 55 countries
and growing, and yet, we discussed, we have not done
anything in our home diocese. On November 30th, I
received a letter from His Excellency saying in part,
“The Church encourages lay people, like you, to
dedicate themselves to the Gospel message through
prayer and other spiritual devotions. Our Diocese is
blessed with other lay Catholics, as well, who are trying
to offer encouragement and hope to everyone they meet
along the road of life. The important thing to remember
about the Churches’ encouragement is that movements
like that to the Precious Blood must first rise and
flourish among the faithful. This means that one person
at a time, you and your community can positively influence the lives of others to see
the virtues of this special
devotion to the Precious
Blood of Our Lord.” Our
good Bishop is asking us to
evangelize and share the
fruits of this great devotion.
We have already done this in
55 countries of the world, so
now he asks us to bring this

Imagine the world as a giant chess match between
“good” and “evil.” Here you would see Satan playing
against the likes of St Michael or Our Lady, all the while
God follows the game with keen interest. Imagine the
difficulty of the game if the “good” pieces refused to be
moved as requested. Imagine if a pawn wanted to be the
queen, a knight wanted to move like a rook, the rook
didn’t want to go to the particular space it was moved to
and the bishop just flatly refused to move at all! What
would be the outcome of this chaotic game? How could
good possibly triumph?
Look at human life in the time we are living in.
Because we have free will, we can move and do and say
and think whatever we want no matter how void of truth,
love, virtue or fact it may be. Yes, even many Catholics
have this problem. We are rebellious chess pieces
refusing to allow the Master to move us in a manner that
would best win this game for
souls. We believe WE know
best, or that we would just like
to do what pleases us in that
particular moment, or we’ll
think about God’s idea and
even say we’ll “pray about it,”
but not really pray at all
because our minds are already
made up. Yet God has a plan.
He WANTS the salvation of
every single soul that He

MONTH of JULY
OF SCHISMATICS & VISIONARIES
Reparation is a theological concept and one of the
deepest mysteries of our Catholic Faith. God, in His
Almighty Providence, did not choose to wipe away all
trace of our sins completely with the redeeming act of
His Son; rather, He judged it better to demand
satisfaction for the injuries which man had done to Him.
It is better for man's education and spiritual growth that
wrong-doing on his part should require an act of
reparation. This act brings about humility, compunction,
a firm desire not to offend God or his neighbor again,
patient understanding when dealing with the faults of
others, long-suffering, peace and a host of other good,
holy, solid virtues. In our acts of reparation to God for
our sins and the sins of others, we join our sacrifices,
fastings, mortifications, sufferings and prayer to those of

When trials came to the Church in the past, the saints
never advocated fleeing the Church, nor open rebellion
against her authorities. Jesus would never advocate a war
between his faithful and his own Church! Whenever the
Church suffered her dark days, Our Lord always raised
up a great saint or two to right the wrongs and guide us
through them. If you feel we are in those times, pray for
that great saint or saints to come forward and right
whatever wrongs you see. Pray and sacrifice! Your
prayer is meritorious and worth a great deal and the
prayers to the Precious Blood of Jesus are the most
powerful on earth outside of the Mass. (cont. on page 7)

devil or satan; the accuser, the
adversary. He now has one
purpose to fulfill in the short
time he has left, “The thief
cometh not, but for to steal,
and to kill, and to destroy.”
(John 10:10), and “He was a
murderer from the beginning,
and he stood not in the truth;
because truth is not in him.
When he speaketh a lie, he
speaketh of his own: for he is a
liar, and the father thereof.”
(John 8:44). You, your loved
ones, and all of humanity are
now the targets of his bitter
rage. He has found four access
points into our lives and he
never misses an opportunity to
ruin our day….or our lives.

On May 14th, His Excellency
Callistus V. Onaga, Bishop of
the Diocese of Enugu, in
Nigeria, appointed Rev. Msgr.
Ferdinand Okpalaibekwe as
Chaplain of the Association of
the Precious Blood of Jesus.
This is yet another step forward in the approval process
of this devotion. Bishop
Onaga, we have been told,
approved this devotion by
issuing an official statement in
November 2012. We are still
trying to bring you a copy of
that document to share with
you so you can share it with
your priests and bishops.
Thank the Good Lord for
opening the hearts and doors that were necessary so that
this devotion may soon be practiced by the whole world!
We pray for a fruitful working relationship with Msgr.
Okpalaibekwe, as we continue to move forward in our
