Course Objectives
This course aims to teach the students; the basic features of communication,; understand
her/himself and the others and learn what to do to communicate effectively with people and
patient
Course Learning Outcomes
The students who succeeded in this course;
* Describe the basic structure and features of communication
* Describe verbal and nonverbal communication
* Understand the importance of empathy
* Know the ways to be assertive

Course Content
Introduction, Oral communication, verbal communication , Non-verbal communication,
Body language , Gestures and facial expressions, Active Listening, Interpersonal
communication and ethical principles, Communication with patient and relative's patient,
Follow-up film and discussion.
