Fondest Kent State Memory: I’ve had a lot of amazing experiences at Kent, so it’s difficult to pick the best one. But I’ll never forget spending my junior year spring semester working on the Donate Life Ohio College Competition with my teammates. All of our hard work paid off and not only did we win, but we developed great friendships. After graduate school, I want to work at a university helping college students plan their futures. Eventually, I hope to plan and coordinate special events either with students on a college campus or for another non-profit organization. Fondest Kent State Memory: It’s hard to pick just one, so, my favorite Kent State memories include having the chance to play intramural broomball together with my older and younger brothers, Zak and Josh, and working for the best boss on campus, Pat Pine, at the Twin and (now) Tri Towers residence hall desks. Fondest Kent State Memory: My best Kent State memory was the very first hockey broadcast for TV2. My co-manager and I worked for weeks to get the show up and running. Then, when the Golden Flashes took to ice against the Youngstown State Penguins, I finally got to see the product of our hard work. The sense of accomplishment is something I will never forget. First, attending the Founder’s Ball as a presenter. It was such a wonderful and cherished moment to be among Kent State University’s students and distinguished Alumni. The second, spending time with the friends that I have made here at Kent State University, from either playing on the dog raft in the pool, going tailgating at football games, playing intramural sports or to just laughing and having fun while being together. While waiting in line to purchase books with my brother at the University Bookstore on campus, another student tapped me on the shoulder to see if I remembered him. At first I didn’t, but after a few seconds I remembered how I knew him. It actually turns out that I gave a campus tour to him and his friend, as prospective students, last fall semester. He is from Pittsburgh so we found a common bond in that. Fondest Kent State Memory: My fondest memory at Kent State would have to be spending time with my fraternity brothers at football games, basketball games, fraternity events such as formal and hayride, playing intramural sports, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. It’s provided a platform for me to learn so much about the television business and broadcast news while connecting and surrounding me with first-class people.
