Scope of work
TWD delivered the complete design of a Super Lift Tray with stinger and interface for a Terex Demag 12600 crane.
The Super Lift Tray was used for heavy lifting operations requiring additional counterweights, while installed on a
floating barge. The Super Lift Tray comprised of a counterweight tray, an A-frame, and a stinger. A transition piece
mounted on the backside of the crane structure transfered the horizontal loads from the Super Lift Tray to the crane.
The existing pendant structure conducted the vertical counterweight load to the backmast.
TWD carried out all engineering works, from the first conceptual sketches until the submission of a complete package of shop drawings and design calculations. The project was carried out in close cooperation with Mammoet
Europe BV and Euro-Rigging BV.
