Directions for Modge Podge Tray
Place box on top of garbage bag, then place tray on top of box. This is to protect the ground and elevate the box for easy painting. Paint tray following directions on paint can or bottle. Let paint dry.
If using Sugar Lulu paper, trim the white edges. Lay out the paper on the tray before gluing down. You can play around with the paper until you like the way it looks. We lined it up to look like one large piece but you can use different patterns and make a collage or just tear the paper up to make a random design.
If you want to line it up like we did, tape the paper together on the back so that it lines up exactly, then trim with scissors so that it fits exactly into your tray.
Glue down the paper with Mod Podge. Paint a layer of Mod Podge on top of the paper to seal. Let it dry according to the Viola!
directions on the bottle. Check out our Mother’s Day DIY video to see Lexi make a Modge Podge Tray and more!
