brochure - Digital Deluxe
For over ten years, Digital Deluxe’s designers have been imagining all kinds of stories and inventing media forms to reach and engage targeted audiences. Digital Deluxe was founded in Arles (southern France) in 2002 by four creative associates coming from different fields - graphic arts, interactivity and exhibition design. Gambling on a move outside of Paris to pursue their professions, within five years they successfully reached their original goals. The company established strong product development methodologies, internal management and a network of technical partners and contractors… to produce original, communicative user-interfaces and contents for its clients. Each project team is guided and supervised by artistic directors Elizabeth Guyon and Patrick Poisson. I experiment in altering the perception, questioning the status and role of the visitor as both an individual and as a part of a collective. By focusing on both the active and passive aspects of the encounter, I create new relationships between the visitor and the environment which produce a clear direction in the experience. Although my objectives are educational, my work is often based on artistic - more than pedagogical - premises. Patrick Poisson Art Director, Graphic and Interactive Designer [email protected] In articulating and launching each communication strategy into today’s media market, I look for the most pertinent relationship between a content, a brand, a product and its public. With each new project, as a typically over-stressed and demanding Art Director, I (and surely my clients) constantly ask the same question : “Where is my value-added?” and my answer is invariably the same : “My approach to design!”. Design is an art in finding the right balance between intentions and constraints. This principle can be applied to every aspect of creativity : the analysis, conception, structure, information, image, graphic, ergonomics, interactivity… With this orchestration in mind, I produce tailor-made strategies with creativity and high quality. Each technological and design choice favours simplicity. In January 2006, following the annual General Assembly, the members of Medmultimed elected new officers : Vincent Deruelle (President), Eric Mazoyer, Jean-Marc Subra, Philip Belhassen and Patrick Poisson (Vice President PACA west) with a mandate of promoting Medmultimed and building its network of partners in the region around Arles.
