Poznań 2009
On 3-6 June 2009, Międzynarodowe
Targi Poznańskie, for years famous
for their creativity, hosted an event
labelled arena DESIGN 2009, with the
aim of developing Polish design and
building up the brand of the city of
Poznań as urope’s capital of design.
arena DESIGN was held under the
honorary auspices of the Minister of
Economy. The partners included the
Marshal’s Office of the Wielkopolska
Region and the Office of the City of
Poznań.
The project was complemented with
numerous accompanying events:
exhibitions, workshops as part of "the
city lives for design” activities inspired
by Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie.
