HKS DMR（Direct Multi Recorder）
"Record," "View," and "Analyze"
driving with HKS' drive recorder
DMR. DMR is now one seg and
DTT compatible.
Some drive recorders generate radio wave, which
causes the electromagnetic interference of digital
terrestrial broadcasting, which results in poor or
no signal reception.
HKS DMR minimizes radio emission with radio
shielding on the main unit and other components!
HKS DMR can record driving and allow digital
terrestrial broadcast viewing at the same time.
＊Depending on signal reception/ radio wave conditions,
digital terrestrial broadcasting may not be received properly.
When placing the DMR unit 10cm away from the TV
antenna, it was possible to watch digital terrestrial
broadcasting on TV and 1-Seg digital TV.
☆FM・AM・FM-VICS・GPS can be received properly.
NEW DMR Drive Recorder Features
Main unit contains a camera, of course, GPS and G sensors to enable
recording of video, audio, position time and impact with improved recording
performance.“DMR”is the recorder to enjoy recording
■SIMPLE INSTALLATION
・Position the DMR unit at the top of the windscreen, and just plug into the Cigar
Lighter Socket.

・Location and interval speed can be viewed on Google maps using the
GPS location information.
・G sensor can detect and record the speed (G) so the DMR can show the XYZ

prevents the battery from discharging too much.
■SECOND CAMERA as STANDARD EQUIPMENT
・HKS’DMR is equipped with the 2nd camera as a standard. The camera can
point towards the driver’
s foot or meters to record the driver during circuit.
Using the special viewer software, it is possible to analyze your driving
more precisely.
■DMR's“HIPER ENGINE”ON CPU
・Most recent high speed CPU (Hiper DMR Engine) allows seamless
recording straight to SD memory card without delay even though most
drive recorders will have short gaps ever few minutes in recording when it
saves the recording to SD memory card.
・DMR uses the latest systems to directly record to the SD memory card
meaning that those precious moments aren’
t lost. It also does not retain any
data on the main unit. This is a unique feature for the HKS’DMR.

“Total Exhaust Tuning”for S2000 by Super Sound Master and newly released HKS Exhaust Manifold & Metal Catalyzer!
HKS recommends“Total Exhaust Tuning”for S2000 owners; installing HKS Exhaust Manifold and Metal Catalyzer in addition to
“SUPER SOUND MASTER”allows further improvement of driving performance. Performance improvement is particularly noticeable at
4000rpm and when the camshaft is switched to high-speed profile.
EXHAUST MANIFOLD
HKS
This exhaust manifold does not sacrifice the torque characteristics at low to mid speed
range. The layout is the same 4-2-1 type as the factory manifold. HKS’exhaust manifold is
twisted at“ 2” to extend the pipe length allowing the torque improvement at mid speed
range Knocking is also reduced, increasing ignition timing and air-fuel ratio for further
performance and stability. Weight is 5kg less than the stock exhaust manifold.
HKS Metal Catalyzer utilizes 150cpsi cell design compared to the factory 400cpsi design. Pressure loss
reduction and high emissions standard are implemented together. Pressure loss reduction
particularly affects at high engine RPM range providing sharp engine feeling and response.

HIPERMAXⅢ(80140-AF008) manufactured after September, 2011 requires the following modification to the left rear side's suspension cover
since the resin suspension cover (on the left side) of the hatchback type Impreza (GRB/GRF) comes in contact with the shaft top of this
HIPERMAXⅢ. Without this modification, this HIPERMAXⅢ cannot be installed to the hatchback type Impreza (GRB/GRF).

Super Sound Master 32023-AN003 Modification required to the factory heat insulator.・Not compatible with 6MT
TOKYO AUTO SALON 2012 with NAPAC was held at Makuhari Messe from January 13
to 15, 2012. This show is the biggest customized automobile show in Japan. Our
participation in this show is in 4 years since 2008.
We had 2 booths at the show; a main booth and JASMA booth. In our main booth, we
displayed the R35 GT-R, S2000 and Vellfire to introduce“tuning set menus”only the
total tuning maker can suggest.
In JASMA booth, exhaust products and new design
exhaust system for CR-Z as reference exhibit.

For the R35 GT-R, we displayed a new GTII turbine for over 1000ps engine power,
capacity upgrade kit, and relevant power train parts. These products will be installed to our
GT-R for the time-attack in Fuji International Speedway on the day of HKS Premium Day
(April 22. 2012).
For the S2000, we displayed the Exhaust Manifold and Metal Catalyzer to bring out the
maximum engine potentials, and GT Supercharger that remarkably increases the engine
output with natural handling feeling, and V-Cam System (prototype) that improve the
torque characteristics at all speed range.

Our S2000“AP350SC-Ⅱ CONCEPT”won the award for
the tuning car category of Tokyo International Custom Car
Contest. We are doing our best to provide those products
installed on“AP350SC-Ⅱ CONCEPT”as soon as possible.
New HIPERMAX S-style X and Super Sound Master were
installed to our Vellfire to show its beautiful appearance, and it
drew attention from minivan owners and the press at the
show.

We also displayed the CNG engine for a heavy-duty truck, supercharger for a marine jet
engine, and engine for LSA (Light Sport Aircraft) that have been developed utilizing our
accumulated tuning know-how. These were reference exhibit, but these exhibits expressed
HKS' enthusiasm for new approach not only to development of automobile parts but also other
categories.
We are earnestly making all necessary arrangement to release those reference products
exhibited at the show in this spring to summer. At HKS Premium Day, nearly-completed
products should be ready. Please come and join HKS Premium Day in April.
