Action Sports Moto Park (Athens, OH) (740-594-6686) Located near Athens, Ohio, this very long and fast natural terrain motocross track hosts numerous races, GP events and several open practices throughout the year. When it comes to motocross in Athens County, Drew Wolfe has been leading the charge for more than three decades. Bear Creek Amphitheatre (East Sparta, OH) (330-484-3901) Located about one mile east past the Bear Creek Resort Ranch KOA, this area offers about 26 miles of marked woods trails, a motocross track, several creek crossings and a 250 foot hillclimb. The trails are open year-round during weekends from 8am to dusk and during weekdays for three or more riders (reservations required). Permit Required? Climate Type Miles Long Dates Open Entry Fee? There is no direct access from the campground to the trails so machines must be trailered in and out. Big Maples Farm (Oxford, OH) (513-523-3168) Located just a few minutes north of Cincinnati, Ohio, this property is open to all OHVs and features miles of woods trails, mud bogs, a rock crawling sections and primitive camping. Briarcliff MX (Nashport, OH) (740-763-0935) Located in central Ohio, this offers four tracks that consist of a main, vet, pit bike and RC track along with a couple miles of surrounding woods trails. Clear Fork Resort (Butler, OH) (419-883-2000) Clear Fork Resort offers about 13 miles of ATV trails on 191 acres. The terrain includes hills, rocks, mud, fields, creeks, and forests and there is a small motocross style play track. The ATV trails normally close in the winter, but this is a full featured resort which also offers tubing, skiing and snowboarding, a cafe and bar, and a variety of special events scheduled year-round. Deep Run Dirt Park (Butler, OH) (419-883-2000) Located in Southern Ohio about 80 Miles East of Cincinnati in Blue Creek. We have over 400 acres of trails that range from beginner to advanced. Hanging Rock ORV Trails (Hanging Rock, OH) (740-534-6500 ) The trail system is open to ATV, OHM, and mountain bike use from April 15 through December 15 each year. The Hanging Rock area of the Wayne National Forest provides some excellent opportunities for riding all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and off highway motorcycles (OHMs). Currently the area consist of 160+ acres of woods and open fields. We use this for hiking, camping, and OHV use. There has always been a strong interest in “off-roading” and the outdoors, so the intent is to extend this to public use through events. Hopedale Sportsman's Club ATV Rally (Hopedale, OH) (740-937-2575) Open during select dates, this off-road park has about 12 miles of woods trails, a motocross track, obstacle course and mud bogs. Kickin Back Cabins (Beallsville, OH) (740-926-2040) Our cabins are located on 170+ wooded acres of private property on a gravel township road in Monroe County, Beallsville, OH. Private gravel drives lead to each cabin, and no other cabins or homes are visible. Winter weather may be a factor during your stay, as we are open year round. Permit Required? Prohibited Prohibited This beautiful property offers luxurious cabin rentals and has 200 acres of ATV trails for guests to enjoy. A two night minimum stay is required to ride the trails. Trails are one way and are clearly marked. Guided tours are available and guests may bring their own ATV. Maumee State Forest (Swanton, OH) (419-822-3052) About seven miles of ATV trails can be found at this state park. The staging area provides direct access to the eastern section but you will need to cross the road to access the western trails. The forest is open year-round and mainly consists of wide and flat trails with slight elevation changes, making it a good place to take a beginner. Permit Required? A variety of management and cultural techniques relative to windbreaks is also demonstrated at this site. Monday Creek ORV Area (New Straitsville, OH) (740-753-0101) Monday Creek area of the Wayne National Forest provides some excellent opportunities for riding ATVs and off-highway motorcycles (OHMs). This trail system provides approximately 75 miles of designated trails to off-road vehicles, mountain bikers, and hikers. Loading ramps are available at the New Straitsville and White Oak Trailheads. Muckmunchers Mud Bog (New Lexington, OH) (740-343-9862) This property has 40 acres of woods trails, a large pond and mud pit. ATVs and dirt bikes are permitted. Perry State Forest (New Lexington, OH) (740-621-1584) Perry State Forest consists of 4,567 rugged acres of reclaimed strip mine land, resulting in very rugged, sometimes barren terrain. Since the state acquired the area in 1961, some reclamation has been accomplished, including a large area along County Road 48. Located near New Lexington, Ohio offering Large Camp sites by the Day, Week and by the Year Pike State Forest (Latham, OH) (740-493-2441) Pike State Forest now covers 12,084 acres in western Pike County and eastern Highland County. Pike State Forest is open to public hunting and fishing in season. Fishing is available at several ponds located in the forest. The trails wind through hollows and ridge tops, providing a challenging, yet beautiful scenic view Pine Creek ORV Area (Ironton, OH) (740-534-6500) Open 24 hours a day year round to hiking. Open to other uses 12:01 am April 15th through 11:59 pm December 15th.The Pine Creek area of the Wayne National Forest provides some excellent opportunities for riding all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and off-highway motorcycles (OHMs). Richland Furnace State Forest (Wellston, OH) (740-774-1596) This historic state forest offers about 10 miles of trails that wind through a deep forest setting.
