A Romantic Tropical Wedding in Horseshoe Bay
Erica and Jared were introduced by a mutual friend who knew they’d hit it off. He was living
in Miami at the time for law school, however, so they didn’t start dating for almost a year,
and he proposed a year later. On the day of the wedding, the weather was a perfect 75 degrees
and clear. They got married outdoors in front of Lake LBJ, surrounded by picturesque palm
trees, tropical coral flowers and stargazer lilies, under a chuppah made of curly willow, coral
flowers and hanging crystals. After a buffet dinner and lots of dancing, the couple exited
through a tunnel of sparklers along the pier to a getaway boat that drove them around the
lake before bringing them back to the hotel.
