Raymond and I met many years ago in a parking lot before
my friends and I headed out to a party. I didn’t give him
much of a chance at first, but eventually I gave in, and here
we are today!
Surrounded by my family and friends, Raymond completely
surprised me by proposing one night at a casual dinner. I was
wearing gym clothes and had absolutely no make-up on. I
was shocked, but of course I said yes! It was one of the most
memorable times of my life.
My uncle played a huge role in helping me plan my wedding.
He celebrated my engagement at lunch on Magazine Street,
presented me with a letter about his vision for my wedding
dress, and he also turned his house into a truly exquisite
bridal suite to make me feel like a queen on the day of the
wedding- I truly could not have asked for more.
As the day went on, the excitement crept up! The ambiance as
I stepped out of the carriage was simply delightful. I got the
chills and flutters in my stomach as I began to
walk towards my family and friends with my
groom waiting patiently for me.
After the ceremony, we second lined inside where we danced
the night away with some of our closest friends and family.
We are so blessed. We truly had the time of our lives.
