Location
Conrad Algarve is located in Quinta do Lago, the most exclusive Algarve holiday destination, and one of the most desirable,
with two thousand acres of idyllic landscape within the Ria Formosa Natural Park. Quinta do Lago is renowned for its internationally
famous golf courses, and fine dining restaurants, many of which have been awarded Michelin stars. There are charming
shopping arcades, with the finest in international designer wear, and many unique pieces by local craftsmen and designers.
The hotel is twenty minutes away from Faro Airport, which has direct international flights to many of Europe’s capital cities and connecting
flights through Lisbon, the country’s capital and main airport. It is a two and a half hour drive from Lisbon, two from Seville, five hours from

The Little C Palace is a holiday experience designed by children, for children.
We asked children in the local schools to help us design a holiday club that they would
want to stay at. From the mascots, stories, experiences, food and even the menu
cover - all designed with the expert & local opinions of our designer children!
From the moment our younger guests arrive they are treated like royalty... They are
given their own keys & card inviting them to the Little C Palace & in their bedroom they
will discover a treasure trove of goodies from balloons to a secret pen that will keep
them enthralled throughout their stay.
The Conrad Algarve offers a true family experience in the kitchen with a series of
culinary masterclasses for parents and children to enjoy together, including the
Portuguese Cataplana, the Art of Freshly-Made Pasta and a journey through the Pastry
kitchen as well. Classes are tailor-made for each family and options vary according to
the age of the children. Children can also enjoy their own individual culinary adventures
with hands-on courses in youthful favorites such as pizzas and baking sweet pastries
and cookies. Our culinary team will guide our new recruits all the way from preparation

Marrying in Portugal
The Algarve is one of the most popular wedding destinations, hardly surprising given the natural beauty of this idyllic location. Portugal
is a wonderful country in which to get married, partly because it is liberal enough to allow couples to choose their own marital regimes.
Same-sex marriages are also perfectly legal.
Conrad Algarve hotel offers you four different types of Algarve wedding:
· Symbolic Ceremony: A Symbolic Ceremony holds no legal validity. The advantage of this ceremony is that it can be personalized to suit each couple. Conrad Algarve’s wedding planner will happily help to create a bespoke event for your individual needs and wishes.
· Civil Wedding: A civil wedding can be held in any Algarve location that you desire. The format of the ceremony is a legal reading of a contract stating your names, date of birth, and address; you will also need your passport number. By law the ceremony must be read in Portuguese and then translated into English.
· Church Wedding: Portugal is a deeply Catholic country, and every Portuguese town and village has its own beautiful Catholic church. You don’t have to be a Catholic to get married in one of these churches however; as long as the state of Portugal recognizes your religion, you may be legally married in one. Church Weddings are equally inviting for Catholic Weddings as are those of The Church of England.
· Ethnic Weddings: We understand that ethnic weddings have to be carefully thought through. Our specially trained wedding team
