Hand wrought iron is an expression of
European-style dignity and quality. Wrought
iron is an iron forging craft developed over the
ages as part of European culture. The uniqueness of the finish is
created from utilising the characteristics of iron and repeatedly
heating, pounding, bending and twisting by hand. The appeal
comes from being handmade so that the expression of each
differs subtly. The T8908 comes in right or left handed and is
600mm in length.

Uni wood is a material that possesses
outstanding functionality combining durability,
strength and water resistance produced by
compressing and laminating natural wood impregnated with
resin via a special technology. Combined with hairline or polished
stainless steel, they provide a look of class and sophistication.
The T1101 comes in 250mm and 600mm lengths.

A door handle which fascinates those who see it, the T1780
utilises the characteristics of cast-aluminium in graceful curved
lines that are connected as if flowing. With a form comprising a
a rounded central grip, it has a pleasant tactility when grasped in the hand. The
blast finish mitigates the shine, giving a soft impression to the space. Available in
blast anodised silver, pale gold or black in 600mm lengths.

This handle comprising of transparent glass
and stainless steel offers the ease of cleaning
and of durability. To complement a glass door
for a seamless look, it is functional and aesthetically pleasing.
It is available in a 200 x 200mm square size.

The Planet lever by Luca Casini (along with the other components) matched and blended
beautifully in this Melbourne residential project. The hardware featured in this project is
all by Olivari of Italy, Furnipart of Denmark and Elmes of Japan.

Oviedo, 1961
Born in Oviedo Spain, Urquiola studied
at the School of Architecture of Madrid
and Milan, where she graduated in
1989 with Achille Castiglioni. She
became his assistant at the Milan
Polytechnic. In the early 1990s she
worked in the De Padova technical
office, where she came into contact
with Vico Magistretti. In 1996 she
entered Piero Lissoni’s studio
collaborating in the design sector.
Five years later, she opened her own
studio in Milan and devoted herself
to designing interiors, installations
and objects. She designs products for
Agape, Alessi, B&B, De Padova, Driade,
Flos, Foscarini, Kartell, Molteni and
Moroso. Her work not only reveals a
decided feminine sensitivity, but also
a profound knowledge of the Italian
school of design.
