WHAT A DAY!!
The 21st Annual LMC Futurity had over $10,000 awarded in premiums, feed,
buckles and prizes THANKS to our many donors plus our juniors did a great job of
selling raffle tickets. The Darryl Raub family won the $1,000 credit for next year by
selling the most tickets. A BIG HEARTY THANKS goes out to Richard Foster and
Frost Bank for adding $1,500 in premiums to our Showmanship contest.

for helping to make our 21st Annual LMC
Jr. Round Up and Futurity our best ever.
Over 150 juniors and 150 plus adults
participated in the field day. Every junior
won at least one door prize and over $1,250
was awarded in premiums at the field day.

DOOR PRIZE DONORS
The Champion Heifer was exhibited by Mikey de los
Santos of Linn TX. He won a buckle and $450. The heifer
was sired by LMC-RFI Smith Black Bullet. The cattle were
judged by Mike Luna. The Reserve Champion heifer was
exhibited by Zane Schooler of Bertram. He won a buckle
and $350. She is a LMC Rico daughter. The top seven
were selected with the following results from 3rd to 7th –
Christopher Martin, Marco Flores, Zane Schooler, Hunter
Sorrells and Braedon Raub winning a total of $1,550.
The Champion Steer was exhibited by Faith Fletcher of
Sinton with her LMC Johnnie Walker sired calf. She won
a buckle and $400. The Reserve Champion steer was
exhibited by Marco Flores from Linn with his LMC Johnnie
Walker sired Simbravieh calf. He won a buckle and $300.
The top seven were selected with the following results
from 3rd to 7th – Hunter Sorrells, Troy Helle, Hayden
McGhee, Brooke Sorrells and Braedon Raub winning a
total of $1,325.
