A leader in homeopathy with the world’s largest
chain of homeopathy clinics that provide
treatment for Hair Loss, Eczema, Asthma, Skin,
Respiratory Problems, Gastritis, Diabetes, etc.
The client has a network of 110 super-specialty
clinics spread across 49 cities in India, Dubai
and UK.
Business needs
For its daily needs the client used an ERP system
called as “HomeoERP”, a health management
ERP system which helped them to connect to
their remote location centers and control their
activities for smooth operations. HomeoERP
was developed using asp.net version 1.1 which
became a major drawback as it was based on an
obsolete technology.
Challenges
No support available from Microsoft for any
technical non-performance of system
Application layer running on .NET 1.1 made
the system inflexible for scalability
The application was a business critical
system as it comprised the complete patient
work flow system; any failure could
potentially put the client’s business in
jeopardy
Unavailability of ready talent to maintain the
application
As the client was in an expansion spree, the
cost of proprietary license software was also
increasing substantially
