he thing that makes the difference for me is involvement in campus radio and in student journalism. You can host shows; develop audio and video editing skills; interview musicians, artists & athletes from London or around the world; create promotions and contests; call Mustang Sports; become a producer or a copywriter; write & read newscasts; develop webdesigning skills; produce bands… Pretty much anything you can imagine you can do at 94.9 CHRW or tvWestern.ca! If you are eligible for UWO Work Study you could be paid for working on specific projects (http://www.registrar.uwo.ca/f inancialServices/WorkStudy.cf m) or you might be eligible for Academic credit through the MIT Internship Program, if you’re a FIMS student in MIT or MPI (http://www.fims.uwo. ca/mit/internships).
