H-Mart is a Korean grocer with
four stores in Canada including
Coquitlam, Langley and
Vancouver, BC as well as
Richmond Hill, ON.
While it is a small player in Canada
it is North America’s largest Asian
grocer with 39 stores in the US.
The Canadian operation is not as
sophisticated as the US division,
which has an advanced loyalty
card program, e-commerce
capabilities and has even inspired
its own cooking show on PBS
titled “The Kimchi Chronicles”.
H-Mart has also recently opened
its first store in London, UK.
