Putting is “Key” for lowering your scores…..
Putting is a major part, regarding the game of golf. To become a good putter there are certain aspects
that you must learn in order to become a “good” putter. The first one is to learn to look and react to
your targets instead of “thinking” too much about mechanics. Mechanics are very important but should
be focused on during a practice session and NOT during the round. During a round focus on the target
and keep that in mind before you putt. Also, remember the short game counts for a significant portion
of your total score. When you get to the golf course always spend at least 50% of your practice time on
your short game.
The Tommy Fazio 18-hole championship course is a fun but challenging layout. We have the area’s best
practice facility. It encompasses 36 acres. A six hole “short course” is the highlight of this facility. In
addition the practice area includes chipping and putting greens and a huge practice tee area. For your

Daniel Cort comes to Hilton Head Lakes from RPI media where he was a sales consultant
and territory manager. RPI is an integrated media company that specializes in helping
developers and builders to identify key markets where their buyers are originating through
Real Estate Shows across the country. In his 16 year tenure with RPI, he worked with over
250 master planned communities and national builders helping to generate buyers from the
northeast and mid-west, offering him a great insight into the demographic and psychographic
profiles of the baby boomer retiree. He and his wife Debbie are active headliners in local
theatre plays and have lived in the Bluffton area for over sixteen years and have a 2 year-old
daughter, Lillyanna.
Alan Hogan is one of the newest members to the Hilton Head Lakes sales team.
He grew up in San Antonio, Texas and Cincinnati, Ohio. He spent 15+ years as the
Director of Marketing for multiple resort properties in Nevada, California, Oregon,
Arizona, Florida and Hilton Head, SC. For almost 13 years he was a top selling real
estate agent at Sun City Hilton Head and a website developer for 3 years after that.
He and his wife Rita have two sons, Tommy who works at MUSC in Charleston
and Adam at USC in Columbia. They have lived in the Bluffton/Hilton Head area
since 1997.

Stephanie Kirsten is our newest member to the Hilton Head Lakes team as Office
Manager. She is originally from Georgia where she worked as an office manager
in a pediatricians office and then at a local gym. She has lived in the Bluffton
area for over 2 years and has a 10 year old daughter, Ava.
