Co-Organised by CEO PRODUCTIVITY STUDY TO JAPAN 09 to 13 November 2014 The Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI), together with the Singapore Chinese Chamber Institute of Business, will be co-organising a CEO Productivity Study to Japan to learn from leading and unique Japanese companies on the following: Visionary leadership Innovative products, service and marketing concept System implementation to increase productivity significantly Discussion with Executives of Companies during visits (1) Training Study Fee Claimable for PIC 60% Cash Payout OR 400% Tax Rebate + PIC Bonus*! BACKGROUND In 2014, a total of 226 Japanese companies made it to the Forbes Global 2000 list, and 11 Japanese companies were ranked as the world’s most innovative companies by Forbes. As Japanese companies continue to make headway in the global market despite economic challenges, this shows that there is still much to learn from Japanese companies on management practice, internationalisation, innovation, productivity and more. The 5-day productivity study will consist of lectures, company visits and interaction with the executives of Japanese companies. Target Participants: Entrepreneurs, CEOs, COOs and Senior Management. A Pre-Mission Briefing will be conducted closer to the departure date. (6) VISA APPLICATION Singaporeans enjoy 90-days visa-free entry to Japan. For participants of other nationalities, please refer to http://www.sg.emb-japan.go.jp/visa_exemption.htm#visatable on visa requirements to enter Japan. The onus is on the participant to obtain a visa to enter the country for this study trip. (7) TERMS OF PARTICIPATION By virtue of agreeing to participate in the above Mission, the participant and/or the company/organisation he represents, agree to the following terms of participation: (a) All participants are strongly advised to purchase full insurance coverage for their overseas travel needs. We recommend all participants to insure themselves with the necessary coverage for overseas travel, medical, emergency evacuation and trip cancellations/ interruptions, etc. (b) The Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI) shall be fully indemnified against any liability whatsoever resulting from or in the event of death, injury, loss or damage to property incurred during the course of the Mission. (c) SCCCI reserves the right, without prior notice, to make changes and/or amendments to the Mission programme, in part or in whole for the Mission, as it deems fit or as the circumstances dictate. (d) Mission participants who make their own flight and hotel accommodation arrangements are strongly advised to update themselves with the latest programme and ensure that they meet up with the main group punctually at the designated locations. SCCCI will not be held liable should mission participants fail to turn up punctually for meetings or activities organized in this Mission. (e) SCCCI shall not be responsible in any way for loss, injury or damage arising from acts of God, acts of governments or de facto authority, war, civil unrest, any kind of hostilities, strikes, theft, sickness, quarantine, immigration or customs regulations, hijacking, acts of lawlessness or terrorism, forces of nature, breakdown, delay, cancellation, error, omissions or any other cause beyond our control.
