Zadok Ben-David Out of Order, 2002 painted stainless steel, 17cm is proud to be associated with tonight's event and wishes The National Deaf Children's Society every success in this, its Diamond Jubilee Year Zadok grew up in Israel and came to the UK to complete his education at St Martin’s School of Art where he taught sculpture for a few years. He has had over 40 solo exhibitions in galleries and museums around the world in the last 20 years and represented Israel in the Venice Biennale in 1988. His work is in public, corporate and private collections throughout the world. 35 David Begbie Skindeep, 2004 steelmesh, 60cm x 50cm x 15cm is proud to be associated with tonight's event and wishes The National Deaf Children's Society every success in this, its Diamond Jubilee Year 36 David studied at Winchester School of Art, Gloucestershire College of Art and Design and the Slade School of Sculpture, University College London where he discovered his unique medium. He has exhibited internationally in the USA, Australia, Canada, Singapore, and throughout Europe. In London he currently exhibits at Gallery Different at 45 Shad Thames London SE1 where his new work can often be seen first. She works with photography and video and has exhibited widely in the US, Europe, Asia and Scandinavia. In 2003 she received a Hasselblad Grant and was nominated for the Citibank prize. A book about her work has just been published by Fine Arts Unternehmen. Olofsson’s work is included in several public and private collections. One of the leading pioneers of Pop art, his use of imagery from comics, pin-up magazines and consumer goods captures the essence of his time. His work on album covers such as Band Aid, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart Club and Paul Weller's Stanley Road helped to establish him firmly in the British consciousness. Peter Blake was elected RA in 1981, awarded a CBE in 1983, and was knighted in 2002. 45
