Dear Dominican Supporters!
Although I have never been to Texas, this Knight Along
the Riverwalk makes visiting San Antonio an obvious
addition to my bucket list!
More than any other Dominican event, this auction is a
testament to the amazing support of our community. Year
after year, generations of Dominican benefactors come
together and make this night an incredible celebration in
support of Catholic education. Thank you for being here;
thank you for your belief in our mission.
Special thanks to our amazing 2016 Auction committee.
These dedicated and highly creative volunteers have
been planning and preparing for this evening for months
and we are so grateful for their commitment to Dominican
High School. Congratulations to this year’s co-chairs, Joe
& Marian Topp and Tom & Carrie Eck, and to all the
Committee Chairs for an auction well done!
On behalf of our students, faculty and staff, please know
how much we appreciate you being here tonight. Thank
you for supporting Dominican and thank you for making
our school community such a blessed and wonderful
place to call home.
Hope you have a great time tonight!
Leanne Giese
President

Good Evening Friends!
Welcome to Knights Along the Riverwalk: the 36th Annual
Dominican Auction. We are grateful that you are here and
for the many hands and hours that created this special
evening. Thank you to the countless volunteers, parents,
staff, donors and underwriters who made it happen.
We hope you enjoy strolling along our riverbank where
flowers and lights will guide you to quaint boutiques and
fun activities. Grab a cocktail and let our student street
performers entertain you as you bid on wonderful items.
Then we’ll gather for an elegant waterfront dinner under
the stars. Paddles should be out of the water and in the air
during the voice auction to support our Dominican students
and school. Following the auction, keep the night rolling by
heading downstream to the Muddy Waters Knight Club for
some live music!
We have so much to celebrate at Dominican. Our newly
renovated school is a showcase in the North Shore; our
programs are among the best in the state; our enrollment
increases annually; and our students continue to
beautifully reflect the five Dominican values of Truth,
Compassion, Justice, Community and Partnership. It’s
thanks to you and nights like this that make it possible.
Let’s make a splash!

bids for you. Guests who use Personal Shoppers will be
presented with a paper invoice.
GENERAL AUCTION RULES
Each bid must equal or exceed the specified minimum bid increase. In
