BE A PIONEER
BE A PIONEER
The Right Location
Carroll University is a true Wisconsin pioneer, established even before
Wisconsin became a state. Our doors first opened in 1846, and innovation, discovery and creativity have been pouring forth ever since.
Pioneers are always on the move!
Waukesha
Carroll University
Waukesha gained worldwide fame as a 19th century spa town, famous
for its healing springs. Today, it’s a dynamic and forward thinking city of
71,000 people. The Alliance for Young People has named Waukesha one
of the 100 best communities for young people for five years straight and
Money Magazine declared it one of the 100 best places to live in 2012.
Our campus, just twenty minutes from Milwaukee and 100 miles from
Chicago, is well positioned to provide real-world learning experiences
through internships, student teaching opportunities and clinical placements (health care firms are the region’s largest employers).
