The lake offers a wide variety of outdoor activities including camping, picnicking, horseback riding, hiking, sail and power boating, waterskiing, fishing, swimming, boat-in camping, floating campsites and horse camping. Lake Oroville Visitor Center has a museum, exhibits, videos and a store.
