THE CONCEPT OF TCR BUDGET CARS THE CIRCUITS
THE CONCEPT OF TCR
TCR in full stands for Touring Car Racer. For this new formula in racing,
TCR has developed a singular set of technical regulations that
will apply to any championship following the TCR concept.
Whether on a global, regional and national level, all TCR
championships will fight according to the same technical rules.
Over 11 countries (Spain, Portugal, Germany, Italy, Thailand,
Domenican Republic, Russia, China and of course Belgium,
the Netherlands and Luxembourg) and 2 regions (Asia, America)
have announced TCR championships for 2016.
Writing the regulations TCR has put absolute priority on regulating the
costs of the series. At the same time, TCR believes to have established
a solid base for the construction and maintenance of the cars.
BUDGET
The price for one season in the TCR Benelux starting at 80.000 €
(excluding VAT). This amount has been based on the running costs
of a car during seven meetings, without entry fee.
Kronos Events also proposes different packages based for example on
taking part to the whole season, on access to hospitality, on catering,
grid walk or taxi drive.
CARS
All cars are equipped with a 320 BHP production based two litre turbo
engine. Prices for a TCR car starting at 70.000 € (excluding VAT).

Afterwards there will be time to service the cars. Race three sees another standing start,
