According to Wayne's
World
The kids have been in school for about 6 weeks now......before you know it,
Thanksgiving will be right around the corner. So, I think I’ll focus on that.
It’s a good “exercise” to count one’s blessings daily; it helps us to keep
things in perspective. The past few years have offered its challenges for all of
us. God is still in control, even when we can’t see it. What good did all the
worrying do? Remembering the times He has sent a blessing our way helps
us to look up in times of need.
We are surrounded by family and friends while there will be others who
will mourn the loss of family, parents and friends. We will enjoy the
warmth of our beautiful homes as others seek shelter from the elements,
but find none. In the spirit of Thanksgiving and the holidays, would you
take time to pause and thank the Creator for all He has blessed you with
and remember with blessing comes responsibility. Pray also for those who
are truly less fortunate than we are or who may be far away from home and
family. Don’t wait for one special day of the year to remember those things
for which you are thankful, let it be part of your daily routine.
No matter what is going on in the world.....remember to tell those around
you, family, co-workers and friends how thankful you are for them and
what they contribute to your life. I am.
Thankful and blessed, Wayne
