Bridgeport Hospital is proud to be selected as a charitable beneficiary of the Fairfield County Hunt Club’s
Annual Horse Show. Your support through the Bridgeport Hospital Foundation will benefit high-quality patient
care programs that improve the health of our community.
Bridgeport Hospital, a member of Yale New Haven Health System, is a private not-for-profit acute care teaching
hospital. The hospital is the site of Connecticut’s only nationally verified burn center and one of only 65 verified
centers in the United States. Our emergency department receives close to 80,000 patient visits annually.
We continually reinvest in advanced technology and facilities, educate and train the next generation of
healthcare providers, conduct clinical research, employ 2,600 area residents, have an active medical staff of
more than 850 physicians and provide economic benefits of approximately $850 million to the region.
