Ponta da Laje
The Off-shore Base of Ponta da
Laje has a total area of 110,000 m². With wet
area of li- near 500m. Located in
the city of Candeias
– State of Bahia, 60km from the
state capital, Salvador.
It is located inside the Baía de
Todos os San- tos, with sea
approach by Canal de Cotegipe, at
Baía de Aratu.
SEA:
The access through Canal de
Cotegipe, throu- gh Baía de Todos
os Santos and Baía de Aratu has a
depth between 30 and 18 meters,
with a minimum width of 180
meter and good ca pacity of
navigation.
By the road, the access to the
worksite is
made through highway BR 324, in
connection with highways BR
101, BR 110 and BR 116. By
railway, the access is made
through Cen- tro Atlântica Railway,
which is located at 1km from the
worksite and is part of Rede
Ferrovi-ária SA (RFFSA).
With capacity of up to 4,000
people, the work- site has installed
infrastructure
for
module
production,
FPSO
integration,
support
vessel
construction,
platform repairs, and others.

The site is localized in Candeias
City, inside
Todos os Santos bay.
The maritime access is trough
Cotegipe channel in Aratú bay.
116. The Shipyard is far from the Salvador city

BY RAILROAD
The access is through Centro Atlântica railro- ad,
Centre Eastern net of Rede Ferroviária SA
(RFFSA) crossing the region less than 1 km from
the site.
BY SEA
The is through the Todos os Santos Bay and
Aratú Bay, accessing Cotegipe channel that has
depth between 30 to 18 meters and mini- mum
width of 180 meters, with good navigability.
Current in a tide variation can achieve 1,10 m/s.
