Whether choosing a space for your engagement party, bridal shower, gift opening or day of spa pampering,
Bellstar’s Canmore Resorts have the perfect place to make your dreams come true.
Events of different sizes can be held at various locations at the Resorts in Canmore: Solara Resort & Spa
offers our most complete Conference Centre facilities with a variety of reception rooms, gathering spaces
and a theatre which can seat 96 theatre attendees and easily convert into a meeting space.
The Solara Conference Room and the Aurora Theatre are both equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual
equipment and sound surround system. All Bellstar resorts offer complimentary high-speed wireless
connectivity.

Bellstar Canmore Policies
Guest Room Deposit
Bellstar Hotels & Resorts offers all wedding couples two options for guest accommodations.
Bellstar will give each wedding couple a discount off our best available rate for your guests which will
be honoured up to 45 days prior to your arrival date. Your guests will be booking from resort inventory
on a first come first serve basis under your wedding group name. Guests can choose from one or all
of our resorts.
Alternatively, wedding couples are able to set aside a contracted Group Block for their wedding
guests. A contract can be negotiated for a preferred group rate and limited amount of inventory.
Each wedding couple is responsible for all unused rooms in a contracted Group Block. A 25% deposit
of the total room revenue is required at time of contract signing and each wedding couple will be
responsible for the entire pick up of all unused inventory, 30 days prior to group’s arrival date. In the
event any units go unused and if the deposit is less than the total revenue amount owing, the credit
card on file will be charged the difference. If a refund is required, this will be taken care of
upon departure.

If the wedding ceremony is scheduled prior to 5pm we strongly advise that you book the day prior
as we cannot guarantee check in prior to 4pm.
Individual Payment: All individual reservations require the payment of the first night’s room and
tax at time of reservation.
Group or Master Account Payment: Group Blocks having all accommodations charged to one
bill need to secure the booking with a deposit for the first night’s room and tax for each room in the
block at the time of signing the contract. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to group arrival.
Celebration Space Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required at time of contract signing
in order to confirm Celebration Space. This deposit will be applied to the final bill. This is in addition
to your accommodation deposit.
Contingency Planning for Weather : For outdoor ceremonies and receptions, Bellstar’s
Canmore properties are not responsible for change of venue for outdoor ceremonies and/or
receptions in case of bad weather. Please have a contingency plan in place.
