Murchie's brings a storied tea tradition to Wesbrook Village
Murchie's, a 120-year-old company with a proud B.C. history, is Wesbrook Village's newest
community member. The company was founded in 1894 in New Westminster, B.C., by John
Murchie, who, in his ancestral Scotland, delivered his signature blends directly to the Queen
herself!
Today, Murchie's is a proud Canadian institution, with deep roots in the British tea tradition. With
more than 100 loose-leaf teas, including everything from their time-honoured Earl Grey to
beautifully nuanced green-black blends (rather uncommon) to the finest oolongs and jasmine
peach blossoms, Murchie's is like a little shop of wonders for tea lovers. New to the world of tea?
This is the perfect place to get an introduction - and to get equipped with everything you'll need.
