Easter Egg-stravaganza in Wesbrook Village
Easter brings a sense of bright new life: when we see coloured eggs, baskets, and bunnies, we
know that spring has sprung. Wesbrook is the place to be this Easter, with a celebration that will
have the whole neighbourhood hopping. All the classic Easter events will unfold here: an Easter
egg scavenger hunt for kids ten and under (be sure to bring your own basket), an inspiring Easter
craft, and a meet and greet - and photo op! - with Peter Cottontail himself! And it's all totally free!

A BEACH IN OUR OWN BACKYARD
Urban Rec Beach Volleyball at Wesbrook
Urban Rec activates this city. They offer a wide variety of activities for adults across Vancouver,
from dodgeball to baseball to floor hockey. The emphasis is all about being social, and actually
having tons of fun while you're out there.
Urban Rec's beach beach volleyball is a highlight of their summer roster, and we're lucky enough
to host one of their prime venues right here in Wesbrook Village! Wesbrook's gorgeous white
sand courts are flanked by the majestic green of Pacific Spirit Park - a perfect BC summer
setting. (Plus, there's plenty of free parking right nearby in the Wesbrook Parking lot.) The
summer season includes three separate sessions, starting in April, May, and July. You can form
your own team, or sign up individually and get assigned to a team - a great way to meet some
new friends! We can't wait to get our toes in the sand this season. Come join us.

In concert with the legendary Storm the Wall races at UBC, UBC Rec is hosting a kids festival to
start off the summer season right! They’ll have carnival games, a free concert from Bobs & LoLo ,
snacks and food trucks, free camp registrations, and more!

UBC Kids Camps offer everything from martial arts to kids yoga. Registration is now open, so

Old Barn Kids Camps also offer an astonishing variety of activities – from painting and drawing, to
sports galore, to chess! Registration for Old Barn Camps starts on March 13. (More detail in the
