M04198 (0610) CAST WHO’S WHO TRAVIS WALL was the runner-up for the Fox reality show So You Think You Can Dance, and is currently a resident choreographer and judge for the national dance competition show. He is a 4-time Emmy nominated choreographer for his work on So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing with the Stars. Travis has choreographed stage and music videos for Carrie Underwood, Justin Bieber and Demi Lovato. He choreographed for the 82nd Academy Awards as well as the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, where he worked with Drake, Florence and the Machine, Chelsea Handler, Eminem, and Rihanna. Travis also choreographed the contemporary numbers for the feature film Step Up Revolution and just finished choreographing a film with Kevin Hart. Currently, he teaches on tour with NUVO Dance Competition. Travis is a founding member of the Los Angeles based dance company Shaping Sound. Follow him at @travISova NICK LAZZARINI His multifaceted dancing abilities have leveraged his career within the United States and abroad. Nick is the season one winner of the Fox reality show So You Think You Can Dance, and has been featured in countless publications, including the cover of Dance Spirit Magazine twice. He has performed with music sensations such as Adele on Dancing with the Stars, Kelly Clarkson at this year’s American Music Awards and Florence and the Machine at The MTV Video Music Awards. Currently, he teaches on tour for JUMP Dance Convention. Nick is a founding member of the Los Angeles based dance company Shaping Sound. Follow him at @NickLazzarini TEDDY FORANCE grew up at his families dance studio the Hackworth School of performing arts in Easthampton, Massachusetts. He has had the opportunity to perform with Janet Jackson, Cirque Du Soleil, Florence & the Machine, Kelly Clarkson, Usher, Lady Gaga, Kylie Minogue, & Maxwell. Teddy has performed on Ellen, Good Morning America, Dancing with The Stars, American Idol, The Oscars, The AMA’s, The Emmy’s & was in The Step Up Revolution Movie. Teddy continues to teach on JUMP Dance Convention for his 6th season! Follow him at @TeddyForance KYLE ROBINSON is a Contemporary choreographer and teacher whose work strongly emphasizes Modern and Ballet technique. At the age of 18, he received the Gold Award in Modern Dance from the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts (NFAA). It was also during this time that he met legendary dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov who began to mentor Kyle from that point on. He went on to fine-tune his abilities by training at the Julliard School, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2009. Throughout his college experience and after, Kyle worked as a freelance dancer with Aszure & Artists as well as the Lar Lubovitch Dance Company. He played the role of Diesel in West Side Story’s First National Tour performing the choreography of Jerome Robins. Kyle was featured on Dancing with the Stars in a pas de duex to Christina Perri’s “Arms.” He has guest starred on NBC’s Parks and Recreation and most recently can be seen on the “You Win” Chase Bank/Lowe’s national commercial. Currently, he resides in Los Angeles where he choreographs and performs for Shaping Sound Dance Company, as well as independently. Follow him at @KyleRRobinson CHANTEL AGUIRRE trained with San Francisco Ballet, The Dance Company of SF and NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. She has performed with San Francisco Ballet, Cedar Lake, Soul Escape, Lunge Dance Collective, Tayeh Dance, Shaping Sound and Still Motion. She has worked with Beyoncé, Adele, Florence and the Machine, The Goo Goo Dolls, Taylor Swift, Ceelo Green, Christina Perri, Panic at the Disco, Chris Brown, and was the associate choreographer for Kylie Minogue’s World Tour. TV credits: Dancing with the Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, the Academy Awards, VMA’s, AMA’s, MACY’s Passport, Billboard Music Awards, Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, BET Awards, GLEE, X Factor, Good Christian Belles, Two and a Half Men and Mad Men. She travels the country teaching and choreographing at various schools and tours with NUVO Dance Convention. CHANNING COOKE grew up in Haverhill, MA where she trained under studio owner Karla Pattavina. She debuted on Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance as a top twenty contestant and then went on to perform alongside Neil Patrick Harris at the 42nd Annual Academy Awards. Other TV credits include American Idol where she performed with Rihanna, The X Factor with Jessie J, So You Think You Can Dance with Jennifer Lopez, the American Music Awards, All The Right Moves, Shake It Up, Austin & Ally, Two and A Half Men, and Movement One, a dance documentary. She WHO’S WHO currently teaches throughout North America and is honored to be dancing with Shaping Sound. RORY FREEMAN at the age of 18 was a Silver Award recipient in Modern Dance from the National Foundation for Advancements in the Arts (NFFA). He then went on to earn his BFA in Dance from SUNY Purchase (NY) in 2010. This gave him the opportunity to perform pieces by Bill T. Jones, Paul Taylor, Bella Lewitsky, and Luca Veggetti. In 2010, he joined the world renowned dance company, MOMIX, and performed nationally and internationally. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2013, Rory has had the honor of working and performing with companies such as Commonality, Escape Artists, and Royal Flux. In addition, he has worked with music artists such as Earth, Wind, & Fire, Taylor Swift, Paula Abdul, and Jack Wagner, among others. He has appeared in Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” and Paula Abdul’s “Check Yourself” music videos. He had the pleasure of being a part of the skeleton crew to create part of the Opening Ceremonies for the 2014 Winter Olympics. Rory is a part of the faculty and judges for various national conventions and competitions. He has taught & choreographed at numerous studios across the U.S. and South America. Rory is also the CoFounder and Co-Director of MOVE: The Initiative, a dance intensive that takes place in the New England area, which he is from. Rory was honored to become a member of Shaping Sound in 2013. He was part of the company’s first ever national tour, performed at the International Festival Dans Encore, the Dizzy Feet Foundation Gala, and Dancer Palooza. Rory is thrilled to be able to work with Shaping Sound for a second season! DANIEL GAYMON was born and raised in Columbia, SC. He began dancing at the age of nine under the training of Dale Lam at the Columbia City Jazz Dance School & Company where he studied for nine years. He has worked with choreographers Mandy Moore, Travis Wall, Teddy Forance, Misha Gabriel, Dondraico Johnson and many others. He toured China in a five week touring production, and this past year he toured Germany with the Rasta Thomas’ Bad Boys of Dance. JAIMIE GOODWIN grew up in Virginia Beach, VA where she trained in performing arts under Denise Wall. She made her acting debut as a guest star on the new CBS TV show Vegas and appeared as a co-star on Oxygen’s All The Right Moves. She was a top ten finalist on So You Think You Can Dance and regularly returns to perform with them as an ‘Allstar’. She has been seen on TV in a McDonald’s commercial; other TV credits include: episodes of Dancing with The Stars (as a guest performer and dancing with artists such as Adele and Annie Lennox), a recurring role on Glee, Two and a Half Men, lead female in Shawn Hook’s video Every Red Light, the 82nd and 85th Academy Awards, the Emmy Awards, and the 2012 and 2013 American Music Awards. You can also check her out on film in High School Musical 3, Rock of Ages, and Movement One, a dance documentary. Jaimie was the assistant choreographer to Sonya Tayeh on the Miley Cyrus and Kylie Minogue world tours and performed with Rasta Thomas’ Bad Boys of Dance on several European tours. She prides herself in inspiring and sharing with others. She recently had the honor of teaching at Stanford University and continues to travel and teach with 24SEVEN. You can currently find her performing around the world with Shaping Sound! KATE HARPOOTLIAN grew up in Columbia, SC studying at Columbia City Jazz. She has worked with choreographers such as Jason Parsons, Billy Bell, Cherice Barton, Heather Lang and Brice Mousset. Credits include: Boardwalk Empire, Dancing with the Stars, The Merce Cunningham Dance Company and The Great Gatsby premiere event. She has also acted in commercials for Special K, Sunglass Hut, and Nespresso. She has a flair for the comedy, a love of learning and teaching and enjoys anything involving dessert. Follow her @KateHarpootlian JUSTINE LUTZ grew up in Plymouth, MN where she started dancing at the age of three. She attended Loyola Marymount University and traveled as an assistant for the Pulse on Tour for a year. TV Credits include: ABC’s Suburgatory, Fox’s Glee, Disney’s Liz and Maddie, The American Music Awards and the Teen Choice Awards. She has been seen in a Fuller mops commercial. Justine has worked with Taylor Swift, Ke$ha, Pitbull, Ed Sheeran, Paramore and Emmy winning cinematographer Vilmos Zsigmond in God The Father. She has appeared in both Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” and Ed Sheeran’s “Don’t” music videos and works with NIKE. She hopes her drive and passion will be felt as she tours with Shaping Sound. WHO’S WHO BEN SUSAK is excited to be touring with the amazing Shaping Sound artists that he is proud to call his friends. Credits include; Wicked, Cirque du Soleil, So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing with the Stars. He has worked with Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Ke$ha, Florence and the Machine, Kelly Clarkson and has been featured on American Idol. Shaping Sound, one clap! CHELSEA THEDINGA grew up in Las Vegas and trained at Inspire Dance Company under Artistic Director Robert Contreras. After moving to Los Angeles, she began dancing with Sonya Tayeh’s dance Company Tayeh Dance and assisted choreographers on So You Think You Can Dance which led to performance opportunities on The Academy Awards, The American Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, Glee, America’s Got Talent, The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Dancing with the Stars and So You Think Can Dance. Chelsea has toured North and South America dancing for Latin artist Chayanne’s No Hay Imposibles Tour. Recently, Chelsea performed with Stacey Tookey’s Still Motion Dance Company and with Shaping Sound on All the Right Moves. AMY YAKIMA is the Season 10, America’s Favorite Female Dancer on the reality show So You Think You Can Dance and was a guest performer on SYTYCD Ukraine. She grew up in Northville, MI, where she began dancing at Noretta Dunworth School of Dance at the age of three. She performed in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular as ‘Clara’ in Detroit and New York City. She attended Marymount Manhattan College on scholarship in NYC and she is currently a staff member at Velocity Dance Convention. SKYLAR BOYKIN (SWING) was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Since the age of nine she trained at Dance Industry Performing Arts Center in ballet, jazz, contemporary, improvisation and choreography. In 2010, she was selected as a Texas YoungMaster and was awarded multiple grants to further her studies in the art of dance. In 2012, from a field of 5,000 contestants, she was named YoungArts Winner in modern dance and choreography from which she traveled to Miami to perform with 20 other dancers at the Miami New World Center. Skylar has had the privilege to attend many workshops and intensives including, Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet in New York, Batsheva Dance Company in Israel and Boulder Jazz Dance Workshop. GIL STROMING BREAK THE FLOOR PRODUCTIONS (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) Gil is regarded as one of the leading dance entrepreneurs in the world. Before his business ventures, Gil began his dance career at 12 years old with the Kirov Student Ballet Company. From there, he was cast in the hit Off-Broadway show Tap Dogs. Upon leaving the show at age 18, Gil created his own tap dance company, Break The Floor. Break The Floor performed for the NBA at Madison Square Garden, for the internationally televised Goodwill Games (TBS), The Marian Anderson Awards (PBS), the Thanksgiving Day Parade (ABC), The Princess Grace Awards, and with the Duke Ellington Orchestra. Gil has appeared on numerous television programs including The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Today Show, Live With Regis and Kathie Lee, the Kennedy Center’s 25th Anniversary Honors (PBS) and on Chris Rock’s comedy album, Bigger and Blacker. Gil is also the face of Capezio tap shoes, gracing the cover of Capezio tap shoe boxes worldwide. Following his dance career, Gil created Break The Floor Productions, LLC. Break The Floor Productions is one of the world’s preeminent dance entertainment companies, encompassing touring theatrical productions, dance workshops, photo and video production, corporate events and apparel. Break The Floor Productions has produced some of the most premier dance events of our time including NUVO Dance Convention, 24 Seven Dance Convention & the world’s largest dance convention JUMP! Series and the feature films, Hairspray and Nine. Nikole is on the Artistic Advisory board of Rosie’s Theater Kids and is a founding board member of The Performing Arts Project. BRAD BAUNER (GENERAL MANAGER) Brad Bauner was an Associate Producer of Broadway’s Burn the Floor (2010). He previously served as the Associate Producer for Post Street Theater and Marines Memorial Theater in San Francisco. He was the General Manager of Rat Pack: Live at the Sands for two tours. Brad also spent seven years as the Associate General Manager of the smash hit STOMP. Additionally, Brad is a television writer, playwright and lyricist.
