SUMMERDANCE CHECKLIST
WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO CAMP?
We can hardly wait to see all of our dance friends and
are looking forward to an action packed week of
dancing, crafts and lots of fun!
Our 2016 Summer Dance
themes are:
July 4-8- 9:00-11:30am - Once Upon a Fairy
July 18-22 - 9:00-11:30am - Under the Big Top
Aug 8-12 - 9:00-11:30am - Fun in the Sun
EXTENDED SUPERVISION
Extended supervision is available from 8:30-9:00am & 11:30-12:00pm. There is
no extra fee for extended supervision.
AUTHORIZATION FOR ADMINISTRATION OF
MEDICATION:

Leotard (bodysuit) or Shorts & T-Shirt, bare feet

Nutritious snack – no NUTS or PEANUT BUTTER

Water or Juice to drink

Clothes suitable for painting or a paint smock
Please label all items with your child’s name.
PERFORMANCE:
Our Friday performance provides the opportunity for students to share their
success and accomplishments with an audience. Family and friends should
mark the date on their calendar. Our program showcase will take place at
11:15am at the studio. We look forward to seeing families at the
performance!
LOCATION:
The Carousel Dance Centre is located at 550 Parkside Drive, Unit D7 at the
corner of Parkside and Weber. We are across from the VW Dealership. Our
facility is 8,650 square feet and has 4 spacious studios with sprung floors,
changing rooms, a student lounge and a parent viewing area. There is lots
of parking conveniently located right in front of our unit.
If your child will require administration of medication during camp hours,
SIGN IN/SIGN OUT:
please be sure that you have completed an “Authorization for the
Administration of Medication” form. To download a copy of this form, please Each day, children will join us in the PURPLE STUDIO upon arrival. There will

PROGRAM SCHEDULE:
We have scheduled a fun week, balancing structured and free play activities
in dance, creative arts, and music, and we will be working on learning
dances to be performed at our Friday Performance. Please view page 2 for
the detailed weekly schedule.
